Is this really necessary? The "changes" Homsar has gone through are extremely minor and subtle. With only two stages, which are almost identical, there's no real evolution here. I think this should be removed. Rudeboy87 19:17, 9 Apr 2005 (MDT)

He's a main character. It just fits with everything. --thatkidsam 22:22, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

But there is no real evolution to speak of..or am i missing some drastic changes? -- Tony Stony 20:25, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

You're missing some drastic changes. Poopsmith Z

I would say that House That Gave Sucky Treats belongs in the old design. His hat is bigger and he still makes a little sinse.

His hat is the smaller, less slanted version in that toon. Poopsmith Z

Would Marzipan's Answering Machine 5 be counted as the first stage of the evolution? He was understandable. Rogue Leader / (my talk)

The Answering Machines don't count because you never see any of the characters in them, so we can't tell which design they are. Poopsmith Z

[edit] Personality changes

I'm deleting the personality change from the current Homsar description and the listing of Marzipan's Answering Machine as a Homsar version. We don't record personality changes on any other character's evolution page, and I think they are too subjective to list, unlike visual changes which can be confirmed. From Strong Bad's evolution page:
The outline is colored and has gotten thinner. Around this point Strong Bad loses the "I'm the bad guy" role to more of this mean funny cool guy. His voice is still somewhat hispanic, but to a lesser extent; the current Strong Bad voice is becoming more noticable.
(Emphasis mine.)
Should we do something about this, then? --DorianGray
Okay, I stand corrected about the other characters thing. Personally, I think it should be deleted from all evolution pages. I'm particularly bothered by this because I don't see how the few sentences Homsar speaks in the answering machine constitute a personality change. We don't even know if he was in the hospital or if Marzipan actually sent him flowers, after all. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 09:34, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
I see no problem with recording non-physical changes in the evolution pages, as long as they are somewhat obvious. - Joshua 12:44, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
It's not obvious to me that Homsar had a mental change. I think the whole "Homsar only was crazy after the hospital stay" is pure fan speculation. I would concede Strong Bad though. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 19:21, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
You DO have to admit, though, that Homsar sounds incredibly coherent (for him) in Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 5. And even in homsar, what he says he says in perfect context. It's not until The House That Gave Sucky Treats that he really starts to spout nonsense, and Where's The Cheat? when he utters nothing but nonsense. --Jay (Talk) 19:31, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. Maybe the larger hat kept his brain in line, and... Well, anyways, I think it's totally worth mentioning.--Jnelson09 19:35, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New change?

Is this a notable change? I noticed while watching DNA Evidence, that homsar has a thicker outline around his shirt and his feet have a more pointed outline, if you get what I mean. --‪‪‪X66x6615px-X66x66.png 06:42, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
