Does Homestar's oblivion to the fact that he isn't the wooden cutout count as an appearance on this page? I was getting ready to add it, but i decided to come here first. To quote Homestar, "I see that I'm already here." If that can alter his plans that much, when he ought to know perfectly well that he wasn't already there, i think it deserves a mention on this page. thoughts? {{User:The Knights Who Say Ni/sig}} 22:30, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Ding! Homestar Runner and Homestar Runner's Relationship is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

I don't not dislike not this article

Brilliant. This topic is well worth covering. I feel a bit odd about the title, as I'm not really sure this article has much in commmon with the others that have similar names Homestar Runner and Strong Bad's Relationship and Homestar Runner and Marzipan's Relationship, but other than that I really like it. Heimstern Läufer 05:46, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

This article is great, and I love the title. It fits right in with the other character relationship pages, and it's just encyclopedic enough to pass with a wink to the fact that this wiki is about dumb animal characters. — It's dot com 05:49, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. It fits brilliantly. Balances the humour and the encyclopart very well. --DorianGray
Yes, good Jorb! Unlike this guy "Loafing". He's a shifty one! Loafing 05:56, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Rename?

I don't particularly like the title, so how about something like "Homestar Runner's Relationship with Himself"? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 06:30, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

On one hand, your suggestion is definitely worded in a more encyclopedic way. On the other hand, I think the current title is clever, in part because it's a play on the titles of the other Character Relationships articles, and also because Homestar's relationship with himself is not that of a normal person. He often treats himself as if he is another person. So, I personally like the title, but I'm curious to see what others have to say. Trey56 06:34, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
If we don't keep this name, I'm boycotting this wiki. ...okay, that's a lie. But I'll totally not ever leave but complain about it more! ...er, seriously. Keep the name. I agree with the reasoning stated above. -GG Crono 14:34, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Don't know what the former name of this article was, but "Homestar Runner and Homestar Runner's Relationship" doesn't really cut it for me. Too bad I can't think of anything. The best I can think of is "Homestar Runner's Self-Realization". --68.92.250.78 22:50, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
This has always been the name. And i like it as is. also note that this discussion is over a year old. — Defender1031*Talk 22:58, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
But as long as we're talking about it, I've always liked the name. It's in keeping with not only the other relationships articles but also the joke itself. (I just realized I already said this in the thread above this one.) — It's dot com 00:00, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

How about homestar talking to himself?--Mariofan1000 18:34, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

How about the name is great the way it is, and any change would be a detriment to it. — Defender1031*Talk 18:39, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
I´m inclined to agree with DeFender1031. The name is fine the way it is. Thesithwithashotgunshell 21:17, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Homestar considers himself a "lame character"

In Jibblies 2, Homestar "ahems" when Strong Bad says that all the "lame characters" have been jibblified, so Homestar included himself... I put this up once, but I see that it's been deleted when it shouldn't have been... --Pretztailfan95 21:52, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes, it should have been. It is not within the scope of this page. This page is when he interacts with himself or treats himself as a separate person. When he demands that Strong Bad count him among the lame characters, he is doing neither. He's insulting himself, but it's pretty clear that he's not confusing himself for someone else.. --Jay (Talk) 22:12, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
And on that note, you never added that to this page in the first place. --Jay (Talk) 22:13, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Expanded intro

With a push to expand the intro in order to make this a featured article, I've done so. But it looks a little short. Is there anything else that can be added on? wbwolf (t | ed) 20:13, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
