[edit] Reference?

Has anyone else noticed the paper below the question papers looks like it says "had", "then" and part of "problems" on it? Would this be a reference to Coach Z? --Homsar999 14:05, 14 Nov 2004

[edit] Cut! No......

How is this:

  • If you view the source, then the following text is viewable, which when put in a proper order does imply this fun fact:
If Homestar drank 18 glasses of melonade, if coach z really had bkbkbkbkbkkbmore than hjhjhjhjhj b problems, hjhkhjkhjkhs does he have?

an inside referance? Shouldn't it be under remarks, or goofs, or something like that? — talk Bubsty edits 16:11, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Never mind. I see now. — talk Bubsty edits 16:12, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Check it out...

When using the flash file, you can right click and choose play to skip the question. You won't get credit for the question, though.--Jnelson09 20:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What?!@#$%&^*()

I thought Strong Bad said, " Hey keep your grizzily(greasy) fingers off that!" -Viklas 12:49, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Recipe

Has anyone tried making that recipe? Does it produce actual edible cookies? There's nothing in fun facts about it, and it might be interesting to add. Hagurumon 05:13, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Baking anything at 800 is a recipe for disaster, not pun intended.... — Defender1031*Talk 05:14, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
And the recipe calls for two cups YOU-KNOW-WHAT. Homestar-Winner (talk) 05:17, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Ha, true, but what about the other ingredients? Ignoring the flavoring, would flour, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon produce real results? I think cookies also require eggs and milk. Hagurumon 05:22, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Flour, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla would produce a pile of slightly moist powder. There's not enough liquid in it. --DorianGray 05:37, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
I think if you substituted The King of Town's favorite ingredient (butter), for The Poopsmith's favorite ingredient, you might get something edible. (I haven't tried it myself yet, though). -- 162.233.95.183 21:35, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit] Bold

Instead of Having a diffrent section for the answers,i think it should just have the right answers in bold.--Mariofan1000 01:03, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I like the idea of doing both. The Answers section helps in showing where to find the answers, while the bold would show more quickly what each answer is. --DorianGray 01:28, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
I really like the idea, we need to do that. Anyone else agree? ... Do I hear an echo? MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 01:44, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
We could put the source after each question to avoid having it twice. — Defender1031*Talk 01:48, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Glitch

Selected an answer for question 7, but it stayed put, it showed a check-mark over it, but it didn't go to question 8 until I selected another answer!

try again. you might have used the click-and drag-method unintentionally, which is a common way to find glitches on the Main Pages. it looks like it works here too. The Knights Who Say Ni 17:55, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Crazy Go Nuts?

Okay, so, while working on the email emails page, I noticed that the CGNU email read "i want to be a graduate of Crazy Go Nuts University, just like you". It made me wonder, "was CGNU invented before this email?", and so I checked the Crazy Go Nuts University page which listed this Quiz as its first appearance. I tried searching for the phrase "Crazy Go Nuts" and it only appeared on the fun facts. Same for "CGNU", but the latter mentioned "Prinicpal Strong Bad" and when I searched for that I found this image that finally mentions the university. (Still with me?) I think that the transcript should have these things written down somewhere (CGNU and Principal Strong Bad) but I'm a bit too tired to fix that right now (and my question was originally going to be different.) I just wanted to leave this here as a todo for someone else or my future self. Thanks! --Stux 10:37, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit] "Early version"?

I was editing the Trivia Time article and noted a remark that "An early version of the [Homestar] quiz had Trivia Time as an answer". This had been on that page since 2004, (added by a user who is/was a sysop, not a random troll); however, the "Homestar Quiz" article at the time does not mention Trivia Time, and a cursory search of the page history (and the current version) does not have any indication that there was ever an "early" version or that Trivia Time was ever included as an answer. Am I missing something, or was the TT editor simply mistaken? I realize it's a long shot to ask about something from 20 years ago, but might as well... -- Bleu Ninja 17:50, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

I couldn't find any trace of alternate questions in the Flash file of the June 2001 archive. It could've been a misremembrance based on the answers being Homestar Runner trivia, but it seems unlikely that it'll ever get confirmed either way. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 23:22, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
