Is April Fool's 2014 an example at all?

I'm curious if so. I would assume this isn't listed due to the fact the animation is more modern and PCs can actually handle +12 FpS in these more recent and modern times. --I was raised by a cup of coffee - Camwoodstock 16:57, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

No. This isn't listed because it isn't an example of such. — Defender1031*Talk 17:57, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

GIF Image?

I've worked painstakingly to get an animated GIF of Strong Bad first-basin' it with a piece of loose-leaf from Teen Girl Squad Issue 10— all 91 frames of it. I think it would work well as an image for this page, as that's the point in the cartoon where I always notice the fps increase. It's good-quality, but I just thought I should ask for approval before uploading it, because using GIFs as page images isn't really orthodox. Lira (talk) 01:06, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

I'm not really an expert on such things, but I see no reason not to. It's probably the best image option for this page. hegtcX1.png Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 05:28, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
Okay, now it's not letting me upload the file. It keeps saying it "seems to be empty", even though it's definitely not. Does anyone know of a possible cause of this error? Lira (talk) 14:52, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
Maybe it's too big. I got that error while uploading File:TwitterWatermelon.png. I had to shrink it a lot before uploading it. Maybe try shrinking it or compressing the file size somehow. hegtcX1.png Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 18:30, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
Did you try that? hegtcX1.png Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 21:20, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
Side note, it's not unheard of to have gifs on pages. See ex. Strong Bad Getting Beaten Up. - 15:55, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
It's time to employ... The CompressOR!
So it looks like that shrunk the file size by something like 55%, while adding a bit of dithering that I'm not a huge fan of. Hopefully it's small enough now, though. Here's the GIF. Should I try uploading it here? Lira (talk) 16:19, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
Go ahead! Looks nice. hegtcX1.png Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 21:08, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
