Phone Calls?

St. Olaf

Removed this Real-World Reference:

• The page title references the town of St. Olaf, which is the birthplace of Rose from The Golden Girls. The show has been mentioned twice before, in sbmail helium, and Halloween Potion-ma-jig.

We can STUFF this if other people think the connection is strong enough, but note that St. Olaf was a real saint. If there's any legitimate reference to be made here, it's to him, but I don't see the need, personally. --TheNicestGuy 16:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

So, uh, WHY can I not access The Thnikkaman or its Talk page? Notably, I can access The Thnikkaman through its history, but there doesn't seem to be anything unusual there. --Jay (Talk) 17:20, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

What is ESPECIALLY weird is that the error page I'm brought to has "thnikkaman" (but not "THE thnikkaman" as is the page's name) in its URL. What the pfargtl? Did someone higher up on the chain than me have something to do with this? --Jay (Talk) 17:28, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

TBC got a cease and desist from the makers of the real Thnikkaman game, and so we had to temporarily shut the page down. It'll be rereleased under the name "Who said what now?" soon. Um, I dunno. -DAGRON 17:34, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

It's really frustrating that you're trying to get around the "This is real" message. All it does is send me more database errors. The message seems completely self-explanatory to me: "There is an error accessing the The Thnikkaman page. The page will be unavailable until the error can be resolved. Thanks for your patience." In other words, we're aware of the problem, we've taken steps to fix it, so keep your pants on until we do and stop messing around in the system. — It's dot com 18:02, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
