This article is pointless. Why do we have it? STUBBED!!! --Pertmywert| 03:45, 10 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Agreed. —FireBird|Talk 12:24, 10 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I am usually the first to want to remove dumb pages, but I like this one. Perhaps it needs a more descriptive name. I think the "G" phenomenon is real enough to warrant a mention someplace. - Dr Haggis - Talk 01:14, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I agree with Dr Haggis. We've got three solid references here. (I don't like that last bit about G→J, but whatever). — It's dot com 01:52, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Seconding the keep idea. I never really noticed it, but now that I see it, this phenomenon really intrigues me.

I think it's a good running gag page. Homestar Coderhomestar-coder-sig.gif 02:52, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I never noticed this before! -- tomstiff 19:12, 12 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Could this "G" stand for Georgia?--bkmlb
I say keep it and NOT just because it has my picture of the cheat's head exploding.
It's not pointless, it just needs a little mor informaition.--~~Ampi~~meowarchives 20:56, 2 Sep 2005 (UTC)
This page is so referance!! Why would you even think it's not one???? I think we should take the "stub" off. --— talk Bubsty edits 23:06, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Ugh, not this too

In Teen Girl Squad Issue 11, Cheerleader wondering if "uggs" has two G's or one is a reference to G.

I don't think this fits the pattern of the running gag. I think the joke is just that she's asking for help so that her speech bubble is correct. — It's dot com 20:39, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Why don't we STUFF it and let everyone decide from there? "Two G or not two G" could be the title. (By the way it was me who put this fun fact up in the first place so obviously it is human nature to protect it) --Jeppo 22:46, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
It's not a STUFF question. If it belongs on this article, then it's automatically included with the toon as a running gag. If it doesn't belong on this article, then it's a moot point to STUFF it for the toon. — It's dot com 22:49, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Freemasons

The Freemasons liked using the letter G ubiquitously as well. -- jrgilby

g2g

Umm, what does the way SB pronounces "g2g" the way it's spelled have anything to do with this running gag? How is this remarkable in any way, shape, or form? Jedibob5 23:45, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Suggestion: Separate "g pronounced as j"

What the headline said.99.226.17.118

Answer:no. — Defender1031*Talk 18:11, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Why not? It seems a separate running gag to me.99.226.17.118

Troggie menu?

Would it count that clicking the G in the TROGDOR! menu for hints is a G reference? CompyError 03:57, 20 December 2008 (UTC)CompyError

Growlbacks?

Is it possible that the G hat says "G" for "Growlbacks?" MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 15:59, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Sure it's possible, but A) that is speculation and B) so what if it is? — Defender1031*Talk 19:02, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, if it is short for Growlbacks, then it won't be unusually used now will it?? MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 21:41, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I kinda agree. The page is about places where "you wouldn't expect to see G" according to the title. All references to Growlbacks, even if so named because of the G, are places where G is used as expected. -132.183.138.34 21:47, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
With that logic, "uggs" doesn't belong either. BBG 21:49, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
