In the [https://live.kickstarter.com/homestar-runner/live-stream/trogdor-playthrough-with-strong-bad-and-friends recent Kickstarter video], when the camera pans up (I noticed it at around 88:55), you can see what appears to be a couple of tapestries or posters in the background.  The top one has the two Kennedy brothers.  It looks to me like this is where the images for this video were pulled from.  It's probably not interesting enough to make a fun fact, but I figured I'd throw it out there on the talk page.--[[User:Bobo the King|Bobo the King]] 08:40, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

Ding! Everybody to the Limit is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

Best Powered by The Cheat cartoon ever. Pop tire 13:57, 26 Mar 2005 (MST)

  1. Almost every time there is a "Woo!" a pair of lips will appear, and when there is a clap, clapping hands pop up.

So what? Clapping hands and "Woo!"-ing lips don't accompany most of the "Woo!"'s and claps. But... did you know that Strong Bad appears most of the time you hear Strong Bad singing?

I'm getting rid of this.--69.143.244.79 21:31, 2 Apr 2005 (MST)

I think that they used Microsoft Zarvox for the Robot video. They sound identical. Rogue Leader / (my talk)

  1. On the MP3 version, The Robot's lazer dosn't play.

Usually sound effects in video clips aren't played in the actual song. Thus, I don't think it's a goof. Anyone who disagrees say Aye but till then it's going to be deleted. 203.87.119.103 10:03, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)

[edit] This is my favorite

out of all the music videos

When The Cheat smiles in this video, the smile goes the correct way (curving upwards) unlike The Cheat's usual downward curving smile

[edit] Chomping Whiffleball

One of the visuals in this video shows the whiffle ball chomping its way toward Strong Bad while he's running backwards along what looks like a street with tall buildings on either side. This visual is very similar to an old Atari 2600 game named Tunnel Runner, which featured pseudo-spherical munching monsters in a maze.

[edit] WRONG!!!

in the remarks it says that the lazer noise is being made even after the lazer is no longer shown. this is because, scientifically, the light of the lazer would move faster than the sound. so you would hear it after you saw it.- Jhonka

Only if you're, like, miles away. I don't think 'scientifically' lasers go 'peow' either.

[edit] More Commentary references.

I'm not even going to try and list them all. Can we get a dedicated wikier on this? Maybe like, It's dot Bubsty or Abdisuperthunda?--Robert Benedicio 05:54, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Whoa. The genetic splicings you suggest are mind-boggling. (Kinda like in every Power Rangers episode where they fuse their powers and become one giant robot or something?) Anyway, I'll see what I can do. —AbdiViklas 06:28, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Closed STUFF

[edit] I said a hip, hop, Fhqwhgads...

The beat is very similar to The Sugarhill Gang's Popular song Rapper's Delight.

[edit] I said, come on upside your head

The chorus is very similar in rhythm to The Gap Band's 1979 hit song "I Don't Believe You Wanna Get Up and Dance", the chorus of which features the lyrics "I said oops upside your head, I said oops upside your head."

[edit] Rapper's Delight?

The song shares many similiraties with that of the song "Rapper's Delight". Perhaps it was done on purpose?

Interesting, 172.213.210.225. I can't say for sure; you might be interested to know that similarities to another birth-of-rap song are currently being discussed over at STUFF/Everybody to the Limit. —AbdiViklas 05:55, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
I was just watching a "50 Greatest One Hit Wonders" TV show late at night, and when they played the song "Rapper's Delight", I immediately thought of Everybody to the Limit. If my memory serves me well, there was a section where the rapper sings "To the hip, hop, hibbody-hop....", and I made a connection in my mind to this song, as it doesn't soud too dissimilar to when the line "To the fwqbghads..." is sung.
The line "To the Fhqwhgads..." is not in this song. And yes, the beat is a standard old-school groove; it is similar to a LOT of rap songs. As AbdiViklas noted, though, an even stronger similarity to an early rap hit is being discussed in STUFF, which kinda blows any similarity to "Rapper's Delight" out the window IMO. Okay... well, I guess my memory didn't serve me right. My mistake.

[edit] "Only Time"

If you rejected this and [1] this], how can you keep that fact about this being the only time Strong Bad liked PBTC? Do you hate me? It's extremely unlikely opening credits will come back soon if it's been 3 years since the newest Big Toon to use them. Bad Bad Guy 15:04, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

No — nobody hates you! I think that they're different types of facts. In the DNA Evidence fact, the people who voted on the STUFF item believed that the year 2007 was unrelated to the running gag, and so it shouldn't be noted. In this case, it's a significant trend that Strong Bad is reluctant to approve of The Cheat's animation. So, in my opinion, a major exception to that behavior is noteworthy. Some people may disagree with me, but that's just my point of view. Trey56 15:08, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
