delete?

This doesn't have a source from Telltale So I Think This Should Be Deleted HomsarGuy 21:38, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, the source says it was announced by Telltale, so wait until the preview in Baddest of the Bands before deciding. ThePizz Pick 19:38, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
But as I mentioned, we have no reason to think this WiiWare World site is reliable when it claims that TellTale have announced it... and the people who you'd think would know, if it was official, don't. --phlip TC 02:42, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Reading through the thread, they are neither confirming or denying the title. So, at this point, I would agree to keep this article on hold until we have full confirmation. (Personally, I would've waited to create the article until after official confirmation, but oh well...) wbwolf (t | ed) 03:04, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Don't forget, it's easy for a sysop to restore the article if it is confirmed. That's why I think we should go ahead and delete, and restore if it's confirmed. Heimstern Läufer 03:07, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Heimstern. So, as ThePizz suggested, wait until Baddest of the Bands is released. Strongkinghomsarsmith 19:08, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Hmm? Heimi was saying (and I agree) that the page should be deleted now, and then we wait for Baddest of the Bands, and if it's really Dangeresque 3, we restore the page at that point. --phlip TC 23:35, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Exactly! Strongkinghomsarsmith 23:42, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Ah! OK, I misunderstood... I thought you were saying we should wait for Baddest of the Bands, and delete it then if it's not. Sorry, my bad. --phlip TC 23:43, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Which is, in fact, what The Pizz was saying. — Defender1031*Talk 23:47, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
People misunderstand me all day, Phlip. Strongkinghomsarsmith 23:51, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm For Deleting this. HomsarGuy 22:40, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm for not deleting this, but maybe putting one of those messages at the top that says information may change.
We dun really do that here. At Wikipedia, yes. Here, not so much. Heimstern Läufer 16:15, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
I created the page; I thought that page was enough evidence. If you want to delete it, so be it, I won't stop you, but know that it may be recreated in a mere four days. (That's the release date, confirmed here. You can't say THAT'S not an official site.) --Jay (Talk) 21:24, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
I think I've found as big of a hint as we're going to get until the game is launched; Mike Stemmle has dropped a hint in his interview with Game Pro Arcade that yes, it will be a Dangeresque based game. Now, if we do need to change the title, fair enough, but I call once more to wait until we have full confirmation before any action is taken. wbwolf (t | ed) 00:54, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Given the new evidence, plus the knowledge that the release of the full confirmation is imminent, I suggest we not delete this, but rather keep the TBD tag up until this is completely confirmed (which it appears it will be). Heimstern Läufer 01:05, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Another big hint: In the Telltale newsletter sent today there's the tri-lens (As I like to call it) from the movie poster in between the news posts. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:41, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

I saw that, too. It's not the most solid of evidence, but it's enough to keep the page up. There's no reason to have put the sunglasses in there otherwise... SuperfieldCreditUnion

Let's just wait until Baddest of the Bands comes out, and then hit the preview button (scenes from the next episode). If the preview is not for an episode called, "Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective", then the article should be pending deletion. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 14:57, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Survey says- Dangeresque 3! It's confirmed! Hooray! That Game Dude 386 16:01, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
its out. from ????

Hmm...

In a topic concerning this on the telltale games forum, a member of telltale posted neither conforming or denying it - instead stating that it would be cool.

Alright, here's a shoutout to everyone:
Since we have to wait about 18 hours, we should just leave it here.
There's no point deliberating over whether we should remove it due to lack of information when the cold-hard info will come tomorrow. SuperfieldCreditUnion
Well, when we started discussing this, Baddest of the Bands didn't have a hard release date yet... now that it does, and it's soon, I agree... we can wait until it comes out. --phlip TC 08:01, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
There. BotB is out and, yes, it IS Dangeresque 3 as noted. However, I can't add to the cast list at all at this point; not even Renaldo appeared in the video. Only Dangeresque and Too. --Jay (Talk) 16:13, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Somebody making a transcript?

Shotgun! Another thing, in #2 there was a Dangeresque 3 poster on the wall... intruiging, since there was no hint for BOTB in Homestar Ruiner. Notable? That Game Dude 386 20:37, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
I daresay there was... in a somewhat roundabout way. --Jay (Talk) 20:46, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Are you reffering to "Like a burining car, like a imploding star..." in the song? I think the reference is the other way around. That Game Dude 386 15:57, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Maybe...but how are we to know? What if they had that in mind when they wrote the song? Or what if they just looked at the song and got inspiration for the album cover? We'll never know, and no speculation goes on articles. But it isn't likely a coincidence, that much we know. SuperfieldCreditUnion
Of course it's real! Check the preview on BotB!! The scenes for the next episode say all! Doi! --Pretztailfan95 21:13, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
What are you talking about? The discussion on whether it's real or not ended last Monday. We're talking about Homestar Ruiner referencing Battle of the Bands. SuperfieldCreditUnion

What is worth "Nothing?"

"It is worth nothing that since it will be utilizing the Wii graphics, the game will, in fact, be in 3-D, just as Strong Bad declared in stunt double" I believe the word "notHing" should be respelled as "noting." I looked closely at the spelling at first, and was initially confused, thinking there was either some bias or the game being free of charge. Just something to point out.

Actually. Nevermind. Just fixed it. Thank goodness for Public domain.

Craig

Is the link on the cast part of the page supposed to redirect to Craig Zobel? Strongkinghomsarsmith 23:02, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Nope. that redirect page is gonna have to get turned into a real page with one of those notices at the top... — Defender1031*Talk 23:05, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Movie

This is listed as a "Movie," in the dangeresque table; shouldn't it be a game? ColdReactive

No - in the Homestar universe, it's a movie. --Belthazar 06:05, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Well that's just great. ColdReactive

Ring Pop

FYI, that "ruby" is a red Ring Pop.

Where's the Old Club?

I've just decided to start dealing with responses for the Old Club section of the game, but it doesn't seem to be in the SBCG4AP box for some reason. I've no idea how to edit one of those things, or know how to locate any edit code for it either, so is there anyone that will be able to go out there and fix it? Rexy 18:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

It's here, and I already took care of it. --Jay (Talk) 18:57, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

XFL?

The article says that that stands for a defunct football league, but I first though of the X-Files when I heard Dangeresque say that. I know next-to-none about the X-Files, though, so excuse me if they go by a different acronym. SuperfieldCreditUnion

They go by "FBI" --Belthazar 23:26, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Responses header clarification

When I did my part for the responses to Strong Badia the Free, I was under the understanding that the largest header types should only be used to label locations if the location being transcribed had a bunch of sub-locations to it (examples including the Field and the House of Strong). Now, they aren't broken down this way at all but everything gets grouped together no matter what the location is (examples: see how the responses for the Old Club and/or Catacombs is currently "broken down").

Have the rules changed between then and the current progress for this game? I'm really confused about this issue. Rexy 23:29, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

I basically started with the formatting of one of the Homestar Ruiner pages (don't recall which one) when I did the Baddest of the Bands pages, and noone commented on the style I was using. In my opinion, using level-two headings for so many small sections doesn't look very nice, but that's really just my opinion. I also don't really see why the level used for some particular section change depending on whether there's more than one scene in that location. --Belthazar 01:20, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Walkthrough?

Is there a walkthrough out yet?? HaldoHelscome!

Yep. SuperfieldCreditUnion
Now, ours isn't finished yet, but Telltale always puts walkthroughs of the main plot up the same day the episode is released. They don't tell how to get optional items on the same page like we do, though. --Jay (Talk) 01:23, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Craig's voice

Just gonna throw this out here and see if people agree or disagree. In the dialogue, it is claimed that there's a voiceover for the Cheat's lines as Craig. I'm not so sure; it sounds to me like the Cheat doing his Strong Bad impression he uses for PBTC. Can we get a STUFF? TJDevil02 05:18, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, first of all, STUFF is no longer a practice here. It's been discontinued. Secondly, I am of the voiceover opinion (given the way the film looks compared with the voice's dubbing). What I really want to know is, is Mike doing that voice? --DorianGray 05:26, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
