Need a Pic of SB with his Helmet

Props to Has Matt? and Trey56 for uploading the pix used in the gallery I just made. There is currently no screen shot of SB with his helmet (or at least, not one that I can find). Can someone upload one and replace the stand-in pic with it? ΒΩΔΗ Pledge - Ever & More! 18:01, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

The gallery looks good! I added the picture of Strong Bad you suggested. Trey56 18:12, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Whoops, I did the exact same thing. Must have done it at nearly the same time. Sorry about that. XDSesshoumaru CianXD
EDIT CONFLICT: Errm, I did too, so now we have three more-or-less duplicate pictures of Strong Bad wearing his miner's helmet (2 of which are true duplicates, Trey's being the odd-man due to Strong Bad having his arm raised). Now what do we do? --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 18:16, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Hehe, let's leave the page as is, and I'll delete the duplicates, Image:Strongbadhelmets.PNG and Image:Strong Bad Miner Ever and More.png. Trey56 18:22, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Didn't mean to cause all the ruckus.  :-) Thanks for the quick help, though! ΒΩΔΗ Pledge - Ever & More! 18:27, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
And on the bright side of all this, now we know we have a bunch of people who are eager to contribute to this wiki. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 20:12, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

What we don't know about

I got to admit, this page is written well. Good structure, organization and formatting. What does bother me is that most of it is about something we don't know. It's good that the writers didn't wander to the realm of speculation (much), but whole paragraphs about "This is true for others, but we don't know if it's true here" doesn't add anything to the page. Example:

Little is known of the Order's membership recruitment process, if there is one. Since the Order consists of 10 of the 11 main male cast members (missing, notably, Homsar), being a regular cast member may be part of the basis for selection. Homsar's status as "the secret guy" (Halloween Potion-ma-jig) lends further credence to this theory, since his being a full cast member is questionable.

I suggest rewriting some of the page to reflect what we do know, but keep a little about the unknown. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 09:14, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

That's quite an understatement. The article is currently at least 50% speculation. I'm'a gonna go ahead and ask myself to remove a lot of it. Loafing 10:39, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
OK, I went through the article and removed speculation, repetitions and events that I consider to be more relevant for the Ever and More! article. If someone is interested, they can check out the edit summaries for this edit and the next four, to see why I trimmed it down so much. I think the current size is fitting for something that was only featured once and that we know virtually nothing about. Loafing 10:58, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Bobby Helmet

Should the description of the Cheat's helmet be changed to "Custodian helmet", or would that just confuse the matter? I'd think it would be fine since we're already using the proper names for the Barbute and Pickelhaube. -ReverendTed 03:14, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

You could always just do [[Wikipedia:Custodian helmet|English bobby helmet]]. I kinda like it... Bluebry 03:17, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
I went ahead and changed it to its official name. I just wish I had known those things had an official name in the first place. Has Matt? (talk) 03:58, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Miner Helmet

Should it be noted that the miner helmet may have come from the miner strong bad doodle in the sketchbook bonus feature on disk 3 of the sbemail dvds? Mr. "UB making" Foogs.Vote now on UBs! 13:09, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Nah, it's from cheatday, and it also appeared in different town. See Strong Bad Other Costumes. Has Matt? (talk) 15:37, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Handless Secret Handshake

DeFender's latest edit raises the question - are the movements to the secret handshake "unknown" because we can't see their arms, are does the secret handshake simply not require the use of hands or arms. I submit that it is the latter, since Strong Bad and the Cheat practice it with their hands behind their backs. Personally, I think that portion of the edit should be reverted, even if the original wording might need to be tweaked. Perhaps the following wording could be substituted:

Their activities include a "frothy, shaky chant" ("Ever and More!") and a secret handshake, appropriately demonstrated by Homestar and the King of Town, that does not require arms or hands.

Also, I'm pretty sure I hear "a frothy, shaky, chant" - not really sure why that got changed to "shanty" in the Transcript. -ReverendTed 03:40, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

If you listen closely, you can hear slapping sounds. SB and TC are just doing it wrong. And I also hear "shaky" but that's an issue for the talk page of the toon itself. Supporting pages follow the wording of the transcript, not vice-versa. — Defender1031*Talk 03:45, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
After recording the "frothy" segment and replaying it several times, it does sound as much like "shanty" as "shaky". I'll play through the handshake sections again. -ReverendTed 03:49, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Let's not discuss the shaky/shanty issue here. I've started that thread here. — Defender1031*Talk 03:53, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
