As shown in my <strike>ever popular</strike> series "Mr. Boring", uncreative minds like to insert lines from Homestar Runner on Youtube. Anyone with a camera and access to this website can just say something related to Homestar Runner, post a link here and hope people watch it. What we need is a list of standards before adding examples under Youtube. Something like "At least X amount of views" and "not a full length cartoon ripped from the site". Is this article that nessesary? Thechamp 15:07, 6 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Yes. Rogue Leader / (my talk)

Why? um, hold on, I'll read it. Thechamp 15:08, 6 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I dont understand, what is it about? Thechamp 15:11, 6 Aug 2005 (UTC)

There's not exactly much to understand. Just read it, look up the words you don't understand in a dictonary, and then it'll make sense.
This is just a subpage in the larger category of Sightings. That is, places where people spotted Homestar Runner content outside of the official website. —BazookaJoe 15:13, 6 Aug 2005 (UTC)

How does "if under 18" sound better than "for under 18s"?

RAB

I think that we must take off the retarded animal babies link. The website sightings takes off links that have innapropraite content. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 01:06, 3 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I 'gree. Fortunately, I think its off. --— talk Bubsty edits 21:05, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Cleanup

This article is seriously in a need of a re-write. There are several section that say "When they are..." (as if the reader knows who "they" are), and there are some really strectched references, a few which I've moved already. If there's consensus, I'll tag the article. —Gafaddict Image:Gafaddict sigpic.gif (Talk | Contribs.) 19:58, 1 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I totally think it needs a rewrite/cleanup. It seems very... garbled. Or something. --DorianGray
I mean it's not even alphabetical... --DorianGray
I've reorganized it into alphabetical order. --Scooter

Robotbox and Cactus

The link is dead, and Google came up with no results.

I fixed the link. Try it now. --DorianGray

Gary Brolsma.Net

The GaryBrolsma.Net domain is now expired. That link should probably be removed. --70.224.247.249 05:58, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Albino Black Sheep

I have been watching some animations there and I have seen two different Homestarrunner sighting should I add them to the Albino section or make there own section? Bassium! m OCE

Sonic Uncut

I think the fact that he makes a HIGHLY GENERIC happy face similar to another highly generic happy face Homestar has made is totally irrelevant. That, and it's poorly worded. I'm removing it, if there's any objections, just lemme know :< Evan

One Ring to Rule Them All 2

I also think this is pretty ambiguous. "Wear a bikini" is pretty generic and I wouldn't think it to be a Homestar reference, and the Old-Timey "reference" is just plain couth. Being black and white and scratchy doesn't refer to Homestar, it refers to the same thing the Old-Timey cartoons are parodying. I'm removing it, but if there's any objections, feel free to change it back up. Evan

  • Wait, didn't notice it said that it used the same background music, but I removed the part about "wear a bikini". I also removed that it mentioned a scratchy background effect, though, because that's generic. Evan

Dr. Wily's Shorts Collection

RE: EbolaWorld.com

I heard there was a Homestar Sighting in Taco-Man's latest Halloween thing, a parody/recreation of Night Trap

If anyone can find it, put it up. I just don't know how to get it.

I can't get it either. And this message is kinda late-ish. --Addict 2006 05:15, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Wait. I need clarification! If only there was that {{verification needed}} template here... --Addict 2006 05:16, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Unneeded template

What's the point of having Template:sitelanguagenotice? If we already have Template:sightingslanguagewarning. There truly isn't one, since one warning is enough.--H*Bad 20:32, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

If you'd follow this link, you wouldn't see the notice on top. Loafing 20:36, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
What was the point of that? The tempate says the samething as the notice on the top of the page.--H*Bad 20:40, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
But the one at the top is a generic warning, saying that they may contain inappropriate stuff. The section one says that there will be innappropriate stuff. Plus, you can't be too careful. - link_icon.gifThe Joe(Talk) 20:42, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Particularly if one clicks an anchored link (like above), one will never see the notice at the top of the page. BryanCTC 20:45, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
People should only have to see that one, since a lot of them have some type of language content, and whatnot. If the person sees the notice at the top, that should tell them that those links could take them some place that could have bad content.--H*Bad 20:48, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

On the Moon

In this cartoon on weebls-stuff.com called "On the Moon", The Toast King (main character) gets a new computer. Insanity Prawn Boy (second main character) sends him offesive messages. The Toast King then says he will use his computer only for EMAIL and minesweeper. Would this be a possible reference to Strong Bad Emails? No? Yeah? No? - LAZOR Leave a message. {beep}

A fake Wii Star Wars video

The person in this video has a lot of pictures of the characters on his wall. --Addict 2006 13:09, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

SB's Voice in Star Wars Spoof

The site w/ the 30 sec bunny reamkes of movies uses SB's voice in the Star Wars parody. Should I put this up? -WeirdAl (talk · 01:22, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes. ;-) By the way, whenever you see a Sighting, feel free to put it up. Permission is not needed. Unless you wish to speak to GodKing Jimmy Wales. Bluebry 01:35, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Well... that guy has nothing to do with us... Loafing 01:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
