It has been suggested that the content of the page this talk page accompanies should not be a separate article on the wiki.

  • Please discuss below whether the content of the page should have its own article. Remember to consider ways the content could be brought up to the wiki's standards before making this determination.

If it is decided that the content should not have its own article, then the following additional issues need to be addressed:

  • Whether to merge the content with another page or remove it entirely.

Discussion

But when the truncatons in question are common parlance, it's not notable. It's when the abbreviations are unique that we note them. - Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 04:39, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
If these are the only examples, this phenomenon is not notable, in my opinion. Reasons are along the lines of Qermaqs. -DAGRON 20:18, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Are words that eliminate the G from the suffix -ing (E.G. Friggin') also count? Does some other slang terms count? The scope of this article is way too broad and non-specific. It's just not unique enough for Homestar Runner. Delete. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:52, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
This topic is too broad, in my opinion. If we were to actually list all of the abbreviated words, it would be an unbearably long article. Also, I think the title of the article is a bit misleading: when I navigated to this page, I thought it would be a list of abbreviations (SBASAF, etc.). At any rate, even if the name is changed, the topic is too broad: delete. Trey56 23:01, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Rename
