There were a few discussions regarding this Twitter account before this page existed. I'll list the only two I could find (which I'm very sure is all of them) here for future reference:
- HRWiki:Main Page Talk Archive 42#Matt on Twitter — First mention of the Twitter account on the Homestar Runner Wiki.
- File talk:SK-09-09-11.png#Not Sketchbook — Regards the legitimacy of the account. This is the first serious discussion regarding the Twitter account.

Looks like Matt got More Stuff Lined up
1) Co-Director of "The Aquabats! Super Show": here and here
2) Working on Disney's Gravity Falls in some capacity: here
Just figured to note this here even if it's non-H*R related. — Ngamer01 16:46, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Twitter Account gone
It appears Matt deleted his Twitter account. Links to it are now dead ends. :(
Wiki page for sbemail206?
I think there needs to be a wiki page about all the holdup and discussion on sbemail206.
- Which says what exactly? The only information we have is "Matt posted a blurry picture of the corner of a computer screen which appeared to have the beginning of a script for sbemail 206 on a now deactivated twitter account". I don't think that's enough content for a page. — Defender1031*Talk 13:09, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- DeFender: I'm not saying I'm in support of such an article, but what about the fact that once sbemail206 is finally released, it will end the longest Sbemail hiatus (and, if it ends the overall H*R hiatus, that too)? What about what very little we know about what may be in sbemail206 from that picture?
- And last of all, like I said on the main page talk, what will we do with all the Twitter-related stuff on this Wiki? Since the Twitter account no longer exists and does not have a mirror, and that the Wayback Machine has intentionally excluded Twitter from being archived, we kind of sound a bit like we're feeding users false information. - We will keep this page, of course. Are you suggesting that people will think we made it up out of whole cloth? That's just nonsense. Are you trying to make some sense? — It's dot com 15:13, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Ronginald Remastered!
Thanks for pointing that out, it's dot com! (Oh wait, nevermind it was Defender who noticed') As for the speculations, I think his "someday when you least expect it..." Tweet strongly suggests a sort of correlation to homestarrunner. I'd like to point out he tweeted like 6 times within a day or two, which is sort of unusual... I don't know, as you can see from my screenshot, I don't have no twitter. --BroncoTroll☺ 19:39, 26 April 2013 (UTC) I read Ron planet, and all of the tweets are direct quotes except that one, It may however be referring to the strip and not Hr.Found old posts?
So either everyone knows these exist and they're currently on his twitter page, or I have unearthed some old twitter posts. --BroncoTroll☺ 22:07, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- Does anyone know if those are old posts and not ones we know about? Ronginald tweeted again, "This Lurg worked"... I've read the strip but don't recognize it, can anyone confirm a reference? --BroncoTroll☺ 01:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- What the crap is a Lurg? --JohnnyLurg 04:17, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Favstar likes to archive old tweets, and I haven't seen any goings on of tweet tampering from there. Assuming new ronginald doesn't make a favstar account, it should stay there long enough for us to at least archive old tweets. Atari 21:11, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
I Found This
Maybe it could be of assistance. http://archive.is/Pm1G
StrongBadActual on Twitter
Somebody had posted elsewhere that there's a Strong Bad posting on Twitter and that there is a Craig Zobel following that Twitter account. Now the question is: Is this legitimately a TBC-controlled account or is it more fan works? If this is not fan works, then would we need to update this Twitter article or do something else? — Ngamer01 16:17, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- seems pretty legit with the strong bad puppet (which is like one of a kind, right) in the profile picture SamuelGuy10 03:46, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- It turned out legitimate and there's now a separate article about Strong Bad's Twitter. — Ngamer01 00:06, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
Proposing to Rename This Article to @ronginald
Since there is a separate article on Strong Bad's Twitter (@StrongBadActual which links back to Matt's Twitter article here, there is a new problem in that the article name for "Twitter" should be renamed to "@ronginald" so that a new Twitter article can be made that has info about Twitter and how it relates to H*R and in this new article, there could be see also links to @StrongBadActual and @ronginald. Let me know what you all think. — Ngamer01 00:06, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- You suggested exactly what I was going to do. I've gone ahead and done it. RickTommy (edits) 02:42, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- RickTommy, you didn't quite rename it as described here. I fixed it to be consistent with the new page, as well as moving this talk page (which refers mostly to the ronginald content) along for the ride. — Defender1031*Talk 03:22, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
Format and Content Update
Hi everybody,
Following Bleu Ninja's original restructuring of the page, I went ahead and updated the {{post}} template to support @ronginald tweets on this page. (I previously mentioned doing this on Talk:@strongbadactual (Instagram)#Sub-pages.) This allowed me to update this page using the post template. The results don't seem too bad but are different from the original in noticeable ways. A side-by-side comparison can be seen here on this test. The background is different, the table is full-width, the images are scaled differently, and since I used the fun facts
and reply
parameters, the formatting of those items are different. Feel free to alter the format of the fun facts. This comparison, however, makes me wonder if the post template could be tweaked a little to make it look a little fancier. (That is not something I have expertise in.)
Now, another matter regards missing tweets: I tried checking on the internet archive but it seems @ronginald's tweets were never archived there unfortunately :(. I may have some in a hard drive somewhere but those will take me ages to find. Nevertheless, this very page links to an archive that does seem to include a few missing tweets. Now that we have the post template available, it should be easy to add those to this page. I'll leave that to others. Please note the table-end
parameter used to mark the end of the table when adding new entries. --Stux 13:50, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, Stux! Another note for future editors is that you can use Twitter search (or the advanced search) to attempt to find context for older tweets. For instance, searching "@ScottRauscher @ronginald" returned a link to Rausher's original tweet, giving context to the Scalded Lake shirt. Of course, in the intervening decade tweets or accounts may have been deleted, but it's worth a shot to clarify some of Matt's statements. -- Bleu Ninja 22:38, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
