Often, characters in the Homestar Runner universe will refer to a deal as sweet. The phrase "sweet deals" is also used to express that something is excellent.
Apppearances
- Email portrait — The newspaper mentions "a really sweet deal".
- Peasant's Quest — When Rather Dashing makes a trade with a Keeper of Trogdor for the Trog-Helmet, the Keeper calls it a "sweet deal".
- Ever and More! — Strong Mad tells Bubs he can loosen the waist on Bubs's lucky pants. Bubs calls that a sweet deal he can't refuse.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 (DVD commentary) — Matt Chapman refers to the 3D rotation as a sweet deal.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — When Homestar Runner offers a thorough explanation of how the King of Town's buried sandwich tasted, the King calls it a "sweet deal" and offers some powdered Thanksgiving in return.
- NYU Talk - 1 Mar 2005 — Matt says he has some sweet deals for all the fans in the audience.
- Quote of the Week (9 Aug 2007) — An alternate version of Bubs's quote from Ever and More! is featured, saying "That would be a sweet deal I couldn't resist! N-E-S-T-L-E-S!"
- Email specially marked — The last in the line of made-up breakfast cereal is called "Sweet Deals".
- Email shapeshifter — When referring to his newfound shapeshifting powers, Strong Bad says "Swedish deals!" and later "Norwegian deals!"
- @StrongBadActual Tweet (9 Jul 2019) — Strong Bad remarks "Sweet Deals cereal" in response to a fan having acquired all the bonus parts for Trogdor!! The Board Game.
- Final Hours Playthrough — Strong Bad says "Sweet deals!" when he believes that they are going to win the game.
- Trogdor! LIVE with the Brothers Chaps! — Strong Bad says "Sweet deals!" when he is told that the entire Internet is watching him. He also says that the power offered by Ye Flask of Dennis (making burninated peasants go into Trogdor's health instead of the Void) is a sweet deal. Strong Bad announces the beginning of his first turn with an exclamation of "sweet deals".
