Steven Spielberg is a highly successful and popular film director and producer, having worked on numerous films and TV series since the 1970s. He has directed and/or produced such movies as Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and Jurassic Park. He is also friends with George Lucas, another famous film maker. [edit] Directed By Spielberg
- Email trading cards — C.H.E.A.T. is a non-playable Videlectrix game that appears in an Easter egg, that is a parody of the Atari 2600 game E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, which is based on the film directed by Steven Spielberg.
- The title screen was later revised and used in the DVD exclusive Where's the Cheat? game.
- Hallrunner — If you talk to the shark, "Quint" tells you some "keen fishing tips." Quint was a fisherman in the movie Jaws, and was eaten at the end of the movie.
- The House That Gave Sucky Tricks — The King of Town dresses as a mashed-potato replica of Devil's Mountain, seen in Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
[edit] Produced By Spielberg
- FAQ — The page title, "FAQ - Ouch. What do you do?", quotes The Goonies II, a video game spun off of The Goonies (which has Spielberg credited for "Story" as well as producer).
- Email theme song — The announcer for Cheat Commandos paraphrases of the first line of the theme song to Tiny Toon Adventures: "They're tiny, they're toony, they're all a little loony".
- Happy Hallow-Day — The Cheat dresses as Gizmo from Gremlins.
- Most in the Graveyard — Homestar Runner confuses Strong Sad's Sam Kinison costume for one of Ma Fratelli from The Goonies.
