Sierra was a successful adventure game developer of the late '80s and the '90s. Its games have been referenced numerous times in the Homestar Runner body of work.

  • Peasant's Quest — The game is a parody of King's Quest I, and it also contains numerous King's Quest references (for example, Rather Dashing is based on Gwydion/Alexander, the protagonist of King's Quest III and VI.
  • The House that Gave Sucky TreatsThe King of Town's subject line is "King of Town, Now Sit Down", a reference to "Hut of Brown, Now Sit Down", the phrase used to access a hut in Quest for Glory I.
  • Email sisters — The numerous images of Ali and her sister are from the Leisure Suit Larry series.
  • Email caper and Arcade Game &mdash The floppy disk reads "Manhunter: New York".
  • Puppet Time — The floppy disks read "King's Quest II" and "Police Quest II".
  • Thy Dungeonman II — On the box, Thy Dungeonman holds a mop the same way Roger Wilco, the protagonist of the Space Quest series, does.
  • Email technology — The floppy disk says "Gold Rush", an early Sierra game that is known for its multiple paths.
  • Email pop-up — When the Tandy in the pop-up book says "Deleted" a second time, Strong Bad says "Police Quest". Also, the floppy disk reads "Codename: Iceman", a Sierra game known for its frustrating difficulty.
  • Email the paper — In the flashback with Homestar Runner tied up with The Paper, the floppy disk reads "The Colonel's Bequest".
  • Email magic trick — The floppy disk reads "RAMA".
  • Crystal Fortress — A large, purple Strong bad appears from behind a mountain the same way Iblis does in the intro to Quest for Glory II.
