The popular cartoon Scooby Doo appears a few times in the Homestar Runner body of work.
Appearances
- Email highschool — the Mysfit-steries resemble the Mysteries, Inc. gang. Homestar is Freddy, Strong Bad is Shaggy, Marzipan is Daphne, and Strong Mad is Velma. Marzipan also exclaims, "Scampers!" in a matter similar to "Jinkees!" or "Zoinks!"
- The House That Gave Sucky Treats— Marzipan was originally going to be Velma
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 7 — in the commentary, The Brothers Chaps mention A Pup Named Scooby Doo.
