- Email video games — Strong Bad says during his intro that "Email is like a prison. A prison with no walls... and no toilet." He also says the email sender is someone from the inside and wishes he get out soon.
- Email stupid stuff (Easter egg) — A jingle for The Cheatcakes is played, which says: "Only liars and thieves eat Grumblecakes, and those people go to prison. Just ask The Cheat!"
- Email time capsule (Easter egg) — The Cheatcakes' jingle is heard again briefly before switching over to Strong Bad's R&B-esque song about Grumblecakes.
- Grumblecakes (video) — The Grumblecakes song is played again.
- Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon — Strong Bad and The Cheat are thrown in jail for trying to rob Bubs' Concession Stand and are thrown in jail again following a jailbreak and subsequent crime spree.
- Email portrait — Disappointed in Strong Mad's macaroni picture, Strong Bad says he could have hired a five-year-old kindergartner to make a macaroni picture, but he finds doing such a thing creepy and something he would likely go to jail for.

- Play Date — When Homestar Runner is calling around, Bubs is revealed to be in federal prison and Coach Z is in juvenile prison. In an Easter egg at the end of the toon, Bubs says he got out of federal prison for snitchy behavior.

- After Strong Bad is placed under house arrest by The King of Town, Strong Bad says he's a political prisoner to the protesters outside his house.
- Strong Bad asks the protestors for help getting past the electric fence blocking his freedom. Homestar says that would be illegal and Coach Z exclaims that he can't go back to the joint again.
- When checking his Computer Room calendar, Strong Bad makes a note to remember his wrongful imprisonment.
- When Strong Bad talks to Strong Sad for the first time, Strong Sad hoped Strong Bad would have been sent to prison so that Strong Sad could get some peace to finish a model of the Kon-Tiki.
- When in the Laundry Room viewing the washer or dryer, Strong Bad will say that the key to surviving prison is to not stay in the laundry room for too long.
- At Strong Badia for the first time, Strong Bad checks the Stop Sign and remarks that the lands of Strong Badia had suffered during his imprisonment.
- Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Dangeresque visits Baron Darin Diamonocle in Brainblow City Prison. Extended play also reveals that the concession stand was originally a one man prison with Bubs as the sole inmate.
- Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque — Dangeresque can end up in prison if he fails to complete the case file or ticks off The Chief.
- A Death-Defying Decemberween — Strong Bad's parole is mentioned, implying that he had recently been in prison.
- 2 Part Episode: Part 1 — The Blue Laser Commander gets thrown in prison, which doubles as Reynold's office.
- 2 Part Episode: Part 2 — The Blue Laser Commander gets busted out of prison.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 17.2 — Throughout the toon, Marzipan receives messages from Coach Z calling from Free Country, USA Penitentiary. Strong Sad also calls Marzipan from the same prison.
