Transcript

{Open to Homestar walking in The Field.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: One, two, one, two, one, two, one, two... {continues in background}

{Cut to Strong Mad lifting the cover off The King of Town's grill to reveal The Cheat.}

THE CHEAT: {angry The Cheat noises}

{Strong Mad replaces the cover; his reflection is clearly visible}

STRONG MAD: Gah!

{This set of sounds continues in the background; cut to The Poopsmith patting a pile of whatsit. As he does, noises are generated.}

{Noise continues in background again; cut back to Strong Mad.}

STRONG MAD: Gah!

{All three noises are still playing in background; cut to Bubs grinding various objects into sausages}

BUBS: Ooh! Ah! Rink-a-dink-a-dink-a-dink-a-dink-a-dink-a-dink-a-dink-a...

{Cut back to The Poopsmith. He continues to make noises with the whatsit}

{Cut to a 4-way screen split of the four scenes currently going on, sound effects continue. Then cut to Strong Sad and Coach Z in the gymnasium.}

STRONG SAD: Here I go! {pats his belly to make noise; scoreboard buzzes}

COACH Z: Atta boy!

{This continues in the background; cut to The King of Town eating marshmallows.}

THE KING OF TOWN: {eating noises}

{Eating noises continue in the background; cut back to Homestar Runner walking.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: One, two...

{Cut to Coach Z and Strong Sad.}

COACH Z: Atta boy!

{Cut to Pom Pom at Club Technochocolate; he is throwing 100 dollar bills into the air, making bouncing noises.}

{Sound effects continue in the background; cut to Strong Bad in the shower, singing.}

STRONG BAD: {singing} I'm a woman on the prowl and I stick up for myself! The city is at night and I'm dancin! Dancin! Homsar solo!

{All sound effects temporarily cease; cut to Homsar in a nearly black space.}

HOMSAR: {vaguely similarly to the song Strong Bad was singing} AaAaAaA! OurAaAaA! UrAaAaAaA, Uwarwarwarwar! A-way-way-way-waa!

{All sound effects resume; cut to Marzipan playing her guitar.}

MARZIPAN: {guitar riff}

{Sound effects continue; cut to Strong Bad.}

STRONG BAD: Look out world! I'm an independent girl! Rollin' around like a motorcade! Look out world! I'm an independent girl! {sound effects stop} {out of key} You can meet me down at the arcade! {no longer singing} Whoa. Need to get the acoustics checked out in here. {taps the brush he is holding, making a sound like tapping a microphone} Is this thing broken?

{fade out}

{The word "END." appears with "MIX YOUR OWN STYLE" written under it.}

Easter Eggs

  • Click on "MIX YOUR OWN STYLE" at the end to go to the MixMastah 800.

Fun Facts

Explanations

  • A motorcade is a procession of cars leading a VIP, usually a political figure, down a main road.

Trivia

  • When this toon was first released, the MixMastah would automatically appear, rather than having to click.
  • The items Bubs grinds into sausages include a steak, a tennis ball, and a Chinese food carton.
  • When the toon was first released, The MixMastah 800 had no moving effects for Homsar or Strong Bad.

Remarks

  • Homestar doesn't say "one, two" in time with his walking in some parts.
  • The MixMastah 800 has a higher audio quality than the short preceding it, similar to the sound quality in An Important Rap Song and Homestar Presents: Presents.
  • In the MixMastah 800, Homsar's solo is in stereo and switches back and forth from the right channel to the left.
  • Pressing any of the MixMastah 800's "ON" buttons will start that scene's sounds in sync with the others. However, pressing the buttons next to Strong Bad starts him singing at the beginning of the chorus or verse after a delay, so that his singing doesn't match up with the downbeats unless you're careful about exactly when you push the button.
  • The shower Strong Bad is in looks exactly like the one on Main Page 14.
  • Until around 19:00, 29 May 2007 (UTC), the toon was only linked on the main page, not in the toons menu.

Goofs

No Leg Strong Bad!
  • At one point, during a cut to Strong Sad and Coach Z, the score on the scoreboard changes from 12 to 2 for a single frame before changing to 13.
    • When it is 13, it just barely sticks out of the box.
  • Strong Bad does not have legs when shown on the MixMastah 800.
  • Strong Sad pats his belly 20 times, but the scoreboard displays a score of 18 at the end.
  • At one part when The King of Town is eating his marshmallows one appears outside his mustache when he eats it.
  • After you click on the Homsar solo on the MixMastah, you can click on the Strong Bad "chorus" and "verse" buttons and they will play on top of Homsar.
  • Clicking on Homsar's button while it is already playing will turn off all the sound effects when he is done.

Fixed Goofs

  • When released, this toon had an "Again?" button, but clicking it would cause all the sounds from the MixMastah to continue playing with the replayed toon. This was fixed with the removal of the "Again?" button.
  • When the toon was first released Strong Bad was wearing a different shower cap in the MixMastah 800 than in the toon itself.
    • The shower cap Strong Bad was wearing in the MixMastah is the same one Homestar wears in Main Page 14.
  • When the MixMastah was first released, Pom Pom's sound effect also included The Poopsmith's effect in the background.
  • When the MixMastah was first released, the lines on the screens for Homsar and Strong Bad moved even when they weren't turned on, unlike all of the others.
