*The title of the cartoon is a play on "Ghost in the Graveyard", a popular game played by kids, usually at night at campouts. It is almost a sort of Halloween-themed version of "tag".
*A [[Wikipedia:Trifecta|trifecta]] is a terminology in [[Wikipedia:Horse racing|horse racing]], referring to a parimutuel bet in which the bettor must predict which horses will finish first, second, and third in exact order. The word comes from the related betting term, "perfecta".

*At the beginning of the cartoon, Coach Z's foot will disappear before the screen scrolls off of him.

*In the second scene with Bubs and Coach Z, Bubs' eyes appear slightly farther apart than they usually are.
*At the end of the toon when you scroll over Marzipan, "Stevie Ray Vaughan" is misspelled as "Stevie Ray Vaughn."

*When you clicked on Strong Bad at the end, his lips didn't move when he says, "Uh, I don't know."
