"Well, I don't know how we're gonna print it out, seeing as how somebody sliced off the back of your monitor."

The Cheat's new iMac, Monosodium Dreams, debuted on July 10, 2006 in the email redesign. It apparently replaced Tangerine Dreams. It is modeled after the design of Apple's Intel iMac desktop computer (but with the Tandy logo on it). While Strong Bad wonders why this computer only has half a monitor, the entire computer is a single unit, including a flat-screen display. He also mistakes the wireless mouse for a plastic bar of soap. Mike Chapman came up with the name during the commentary for redesign.

The operating system is a version of Mac OS X, most likely OS X 10.4 ("Tiger") since this is the version bundled with all 5th generation iMacs. The font used for the menu bar is Chicago, which would suggest a customized theme, since this is not the default font for OS X, which is actually Lucida Grande. The menu bar is missing the Spotlight (Apple's updated desktop search feature introduced in Tiger) at the right of the menu, the Apple logo menu at the left of the menu, as well as the application name in bold, which would usually (from left to right) would follow right after the Apple logo menu, and then after it the "File" menu. The lack of information atop the window suggests that the file is a "Picture Clipping", an image opened by the Finder with no usable extension. However, it is possible user can make the clipping a picture by opening Preview, Apple pre-installed image viewing software, and going to File > New from Clipboard. From there the Cheat could have actually printed it, and save the clipping image as one of many image formats Preview supports. Also, suggesting that this is the Finder, at least version 10.4, the menu bar is missing the "Help" menu (which is usually the last menu) the "Go" menu (before the "Window" menu), and the "Edit" and "View" menus have been switched around compared to Finder v10.4's menu bar. It's physical appearence is also incorrect (besides the logo). The iSight camera is round, which wasn't it's shape of the comera for this model However, it has change into a round shape in the iMac Intel Coe 2 Duo Santa Rosa Model
