Michael Chapman (born September 20, 1973) is the older of The Brothers Chaps. He and his brother Matt are the principal creators of the Homestar Runner body of work. He is also husband to Missy Palmer (the voice of Marzipan; married February 28, 2004) and father to the Very, Very Little Girl.

Mike attended Dunwoody High School, and subsequently the University of Georgia, the latter of where he studied photography and painting. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and the diploma was last reported to still be in the package in which it was sent. Mike enrolled at Louisiana State University to attempt to get a master's degree in photography, but according to Matt, he dropped out of the program sometime around 1999.

He was a panel member for the "Beyond Saturday Morning" discussion group at the 2004 Atlanta Film Festival.
