Revision as of 04:07, 30 July 2019

Trogdor!! The Board Game features meeples of various Peasantry characters, and add-on meeples of the main characters. The main characters later appeared again in a Kickstarter toon, Meeple Grove. As defined by Strong Sad in said toon, a meeple is a wooden approximation of a human character in a tabletop game. The meeples have only two or three colors (with some exceptions of four), while the back (in some cases) and sides of the meeple have only one color (bolded in the "Colors" column). The back is usually the same as the front, although a few have no design on the back. The cottages and DAGRON meeple are exceptions, as they have different designs on the front and back. The meeples' designs and are flat and blocky, and they have no outlines, except when necessary. When animated, they "shimmy in place" when they talk, and their mouths don't move.

He uses four colors, unlike most other meeples. Due to the perspective, only one eye is visible. His teeth aren't filled in, and his wingalings are dark green. Trogdor!! The Board Game Kickstarter
"The result is WAY less amphibian." Green, dark green

Meeple Archers
In the old version, the archers appear to be connected, drawn in black on a green background, firing in opposite directions. They are stylistically drawn in very few lines, so their bodies aren't visible. The left archer's elbow is bent, while the right archer's elbow is not visible.

In the new version, the outlines are dark green instead of black. They are drawn similarly to the old version, but with more lines, making the image clearer. The castle is filled in, and light stone brick lines are visible. Unlike most meeples, the sides are two different colors.
