In Fluffy Puff Commercial, Homestar Runner was Mascot of Fluffy Puff Marshmallows due to his pale white skin. Since then, he was fired and replaced with Marshie, who just so happens to be a giant, living marshmallow, and may have been created by the Fluffy Puff company. Presumably, this is the reason Homestar "hates that freakin' marshmallow".
