Although he has a preference for grossly outdated technology, Strong Bad seems to consider pictures created with MS Paint extremely low-quality art.

- Fan Stuff — Multiple fan drawings appear to have been created in Paint. One caption acknowledges that the fans are "proficient" in the tool, while others express a desire for higher-quality image editor Photoshop to be more readily available.
- Email lunch special — Strong Mad sends Strong Bad an MS Paint drawing of a "brontosaurus eating breakfast".
- Email web comics — Strong Bad suggests that web comic makers MS Paint their way to a non-punchline, which also appears as an option in Make-o Your Own Stinko.
- SBCG4AP Dev Blog — Strong Bad uses MS Paint to touch up some screenshots (while claiming he's not).
- @StrongBadActual Tweet (24 Jul 2017) — In response to an announcement that MS Paint would be deprecated (though later news clarified that the program would not be deleted), Strong Bad posted "Brother Graw Mad is inconsolable over the loss of MS Paint. Let's all pour a little libation outta our Paint Bucket Tools today", accompanied by the brontosaurus drawing from lunch special.
