M*A*S*H

M*A*S*H (an acronym for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) is a TV series, adapted from the film of the same name, set during the Korean War that originally aired from 1972 to 1983. There have been several references to the show in the Homestar Runner universe.
Appearances
- Email 12:00 (Easter egg) — One of the VHS tapes that shows up by clicking "Eject" is labeled "M*A*SH* final episode", referring to "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen".
- This tape reappears in the VCR in the Character Videos page.
- Email 2 emails — One of the nametags for the hot girls to wear reads "Hot Lips #4077", a reference to both Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan and the fact that the series takes place at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital.
- Strong Sad's Lament — In the August 19, 2004 entry, Strong Sad changes his blog's avatar to a picture of Corporal Walter "Radar" O'Reilly.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 13 — When Tompkins presses a button on his Game Boy, the text "m.a.s.h." appears.
- Kick-A-Ball — Coach Z mentions a "Section 8 sport" and cross-dresses. In M*A*S*H, Corporal Max Klinger regularly cross-dressed in hopes that he could get a Section 8 discharge.
