Transcript

{A green title screen with yellow words appears, saying Homestar and the Nice Present. The scene switches to Puppet Homestar wearing a Santa hat and standing in front of a present wrapped in red paper against a snowy background.}

HOMESTAR: Oh wow, a present!

{He jumps onto the present, tearing off the wrapping paper. We then see Homestar close up.}

HOMESTAR: {disappointed} Oh. {We see a little Santa Claus doll} A little Santaman. Booooo!!

{We see the Santa doll dancing in front of Homestar}

HOMESTAR: {sarcastically} What a blast. Boy, we're having fun now.

{The scene switches to Homestar making kung-fu poses and noises in front of the Santa doll. Then, the scene switches to Homestar lying down}

HOMESTAR: Aww... GET FUN!

{The scene switches to Homestar standing next to the Santa doll, as it slowly moves along}

HOMESTAR: Hey, wanna race? Ready... GO! {runs past the doll with little competition}

{The scene switches back to Homestar lying down in front of the Santa doll}

HOMESTAR: So then Marzipan says I'm projecting my problems.

{Once again, the scene switches to Homestar standing next to the Santa doll, as it slowly moves along}

HOMESTAR: Look at him go. You're really moving along there, Santaman.

{The scene switches back to Homestar lying down in front of the doll}

HOMESTAR: You know, how can a guy deal with that? {The Santa doll makes a noise, then suddenly stops. Homestar sits up and looks at it.} ...Santaman?

Fun Facts

  • Homestar saying 'Santaman' is a reference to 3 Times Halloween Funjob, in which The Goblin shows up dressed as a 'santaman'.
  • Since the credibility of Strong Bad's flashback is debatable, and Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True was unfinished, this is the only real instance where Homestar has been seen in a race, despite the surname "Runner" and his reputation as a terrific athlete.
