There is nothing wrong with small articles

There is nothing wrong with small articles. This entire page looks like an editer has two options: 1. Make small pages longer or 2. Merge small pages together. This is of course not the case. And the {{inprogress}} templates don't really need to be used every time someone edits a page. -- Tom 20:40, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

I've fixed and moved the page and its links to your requests. Is that a bit better? — Lapper (talk) 20:48, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Not really. After your changes, the article pretty much remains as it was, save for a few words. What is this "no hope of recovery" business? And what is significant work? How will an editer know the difference between significant work and other types of work? And how will they know what you consider to be an "incomplete page"? -- Tom 22:36, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
I've again reworded those parts of the page you disagree with. Does more work still need to be done? — Lapper (talk) 22:41, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

Merge

Shouldn't we also say that if you want to merge a complete page with another, use the {{Merge}} template? Bluebry 03:10, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

Excellent idea, Bluebry. That wasn't added due to the template being relatively new. — Lapper (talk) 03:14, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
