Screenshots
Could this page be expanded to also include how to take screenshots to upload? --DorianGray
- I'm thinking that should probably go on Special:Upload instead. — Lapper (talk) 20:47, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Depends on your Operating System:
- On Windows, I the "Print Screen" button will copy an image of your screen to the clipboard, which you can paste into image editing software to crop. (There is some way to take a shot of just the current window and not the whole screen, CTRL+Print Screen maybe? I cannot test this, my Windows computer is in the office).
- On a Mac, use <apple> + <shift> + 3, to save an image of the screen to your desktop. Use 4 to select an area of the screen to capture. Add <ctrl> to either of those to copy to the clipboard instead of saving a file. These are the default keybindings and can be changed in the keyboard preferences.—BryanCTC 03:26, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry what I meant to say was how do you take screen shots while the movie is playing. — Austio talk 05:16, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- If you're asking how to freeze the video (an entirely different question) then you need to install a seekbar. - Qermaq - (T/C) 05:36, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

- I also find viewing the SWF, right-clicking, and hitting "Pause" works well too. --DorianGray
