Not Linked?

See someone here (maybe even you) who's not linked properly? Please let us know! Leave a message on this page and we'll try to fix it. We want to give these generous people the recognition they deserve. — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 00:58, 9 Mar 2005 (MST)

Is this not linked properly or not linked at all? →FireBird
Either/or. — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 14:59, 9 Mar 2005 (MST)
Oh. I'm pretty sure that Leith is Thunderbird L17. →FireBird
Yuppers, you're right on that one Fire. ?Leith? 14:22, 13 Mar 2005 (MST)

I (Eliot Frost) would appreciate having my name changed to TheJapaneseGeek and having it link to my userpage. Many thanks.

Done. — It's dot com 02:14, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

Could you switch my user name to display my real name (Sean Fennel)? I thought that's what I'd said earlier, but, whatever. I've asked for it now. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 05:26, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

Done. (It had been fixed in the ledger earlier, but not here on this page.) — It's dot com 05:29, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
Oh, I'm sorry about that Sean. As Dot Com said, I fixed it on the ledger but forgot to fix it here. I'm spacey like that some (okay, most) of the time. Sorry. — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 15:29, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
Hey there, just so you know, I'm on the thank you page as Nathaniel Paulsen, if you want to link to me. Also, could you change my name to read "Nat Paulsen" (which is the name I always go by)? Heimstern Läufer 16:19, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
Fixed. -- Tom 18:35, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
This is now fixed in the Ledger and my Excel spreadsheet as well. Thanks for the heads-up, Heimstern. — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 04:17, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

I never did get a mention on this page for my donation. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 22:56, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

All i know is that your username's not linked to anywhere in this page or in the ledger. And I don't know your real name so... --Stux 18:26, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
My real name is Matt Kellner (I'm not afraid to give that out on the Wiki, since you can visit my website and see it there as well). I sent a donation via PayPal to JoeyDay on November 21st. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 22:25, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
And incidentally, that transaction was never entered on the ledger, though I suspect it should have been. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 22:29, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
You'll have to as the Big 3 about this one. --Stux 15:40, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, and conveniently enough, JoeyDay is "taking a break". :P — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 17:28, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, it's not exactly a break, and you can always ask Tom or Dot Com. They are close enough to wiki business that they could give you some kind of definitive answer, or something. --Stux 17:43, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Kiefer, I'm sorry about the delay here. You've now been added to the ledger and the thank you page. I'm a little worried now that there may be others I forgot to add to the ledger, so I'll be going through my PayPal account with a fine tooth comb the next chance I get. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 23:25, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
No problem. Thanks for adding me. It doesn't really matter all that much to me if I get public recognition for things like that, but I do know it's important to make sure your accounting is straight for such an expensive project. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 00:05, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
If you feel like linking my name to my page, my name is David Hansen. Thanks! 22:35, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Done. Thunderbird 23:32, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Hilary Simpson is me. Booya. Only saying so since you should discover another donation sometime today.  ;) You can leave my "RL" name on there, though. ModestlyHotGirl 15:53, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Brad Will is Duke33. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 08:13, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Lawrence Runacres is Lor - That's me! Keep up the awesome work guys. --Lor 11:02, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

"Rebecca Burke" should be changed to "Rebecca J. Burke" and she is MadShrubbery. Thanks! --MadShrubbery 22:52, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Done. Thanks. -- Tom 02:19, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Name Sizes

Is this dumb? Should we go back to normal sized names? Is there something I can change to make it look different/better? — wikisig.gif Joey (talk·edits) 14:59, 9 Mar 2005 (MST)

Eh... I like it better with the normal sizes. The random sizes look kind of weird, and I'm having a hard time figuring out why some are hugenormous and some are tiny. →FireBird
Yeah, I think it just looks strange having them all different sizes. «Rob»
Maybe just put them in order based on how much donated and show the amount. nintendorulez 18:16, 14 Mar 2005 (MST)
I agree with nintendorulez. It's very odd looking at the page when all of the names are in different sizes. You can just put them in the correct rank. You don't even need to mention that that is the rank... →evin290 18:40, 14 Mar 2005 (MST)
Personally, I liked it the way it was. I don't think this is really the place to recognize amounts donated. I think this page should look particularly professional. Maybe we could find some other way to show relative amounts donated by users. -- AgentSeethroo 12:53, 28 Mar 2005 (MST)
Is someone going to change it? IMO, it looks alright with names being slightly bigger, but seeing a gigantic, blue coloured "Joey Day" and "Tom Preuss" looks kinda strange. «Rob» 12:46, 5 Aug 2005 (UTC)
I personally like it like this. If I donated $200 dollars, I'd like to have more credit than someone who only donated $2. (Although I know that we should be grateful that we get credit at all.) Anyway, that's my two cents. (pardon the pun) - Joshua

Okay, I think it needs to change now. Tom's has taken over the whole page, practically. It looks awkward now. --DorianGray

I like how it looks now, except for Tom's name (still too big, IMO). I think it is important to have some names slightly bigger if that person donated a lot of money, but not so much that it is distracting. «Rob» 08:31, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

Screenshot

Anyone else think it would be a nice touch to add a screenshot of the "Thank You" poster over Marzipan's couch to this page? Tom 15:30, 9 Mar 2005 (MST) -Tom as in "ComputerBox", not the admin.

I don't think it would look very good. →FireBird
I think it's worth a shot at least to see what it'd look like. Dangit. -- AgentSeethroo 07:20, 30 Mar 2005 (MST)

Sizage

Is it just me, or did everybody just shrink? Thunderbird 01:02, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

I think they did. On purpose. Some names were getting just too big. --DorianGray

The entry <span class="donor-5">JelloB, is missing a closing "span" tag. --Stux 23:29, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Matt Chapman

What happened to the (legendary?) Matt Chapman wiki donation? Why isn't it listed here? -AtionSong 15:40, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

I guess JoeyDay still have problams with the check. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:00, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
Now it's on. — talk Bubsty edits 20:34, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
Matt Chapman's name perhaps could be linked to his article. --Stux 22:33, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
Oh, nevermind. --Stux 01:58, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

notice

Why is tom's name so big when he didn't donate nearly as much as thunderbird? This page needs to be updated, or the ledger. Seriously (Talk) 23:32, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Tom donated way more. The levels are exactly the way they should be. Thunderbird 23:34, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Really? Maybe I missed one, but I thought he donated 529$, 100# something, and 48$. You in just one donation did over 1500$. Seriously (Talk) 23:37, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Looks great

But "The bigger the name, the more the individual donated." is unnecessary now. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 09:23, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

I agree. This is more like the plaques on a wall showing lists of names divided into groups by amounts given. Besides, I believe someone's name was getting quite large from the heaps of money donated. — Lapper (talk) 12:18, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

...

I really don't think this is a great setup. I mean, organizing people by the money they give will just lead to "don't break the bank!" and "What a cheapskate!" comments. You should just list them normally, no large/small text. --Da M-izz-uTizzalk 19:14, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

not on the list yet

Hi Joey,

I hope you can add me to the list of donors. Here's my receipt from paypal and best wishes from the Wikia team

Thanks for the headsup Gil. Joey updated the ledger this morning and he's teaching me how to do it so it doesn't get out of date again. So sorry it took so long to recognize your donation. Thanks for your generous support! — JaneneDay 02:50, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
