Image alignment
is there any way to get a thumb image(i.e. one created by putting |thumb| in the link so that the alternative text comes in the same box as the image) to align to the left? I want to do in on my userpage to stop the right hand side getting cluttered and so it looks better than a normal image with the desciption beneath in normal text. DumbMuscle
- Nevermind, found the answer while looking through recent changes, as usual, I'd been overthinking it (I had been trying |align=left| rather than just |left| DumbMuscle 15:47, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
wiki user page?
on my userpage i can't get images to just show up with out getting some kind of link to the image.can anyone help?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
- Ok, this is what you need to type: [[image:(the image name goes here).(GIF, JPEG, Etc.)]].--H*bad 23:09, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Is this the image you want? If it is, just type: [[Image:homestarrunner 1895 340365.jpg|thumb|A cool description]] Hope that helps. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 23:13, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Puppet Stuff User Box Template
Should there be a template for our user boxes if we like the Puppet Stuff? - Maggot Man 00:51, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- There can be. Try experimenting in the Sandbox using an existing userbox as a template. If you come up with one, put it on your user page, and if people like it, add it to the Userbox page. - Qermaq - (T/C) 03:16, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Link Color
Is there a way to change the color of the font of links? - Thnikkaguy
Yes there is! You simply need to style the text within the link itself. See the source of my comment to see how. - Qermaq - (T/C) 03:22, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. -Thnikkaguy
Confused...
Do you have to have a different account for the fanstuff wiki? Because whenever I'm here, my account works perfectly, but when I try and log in at the fanstuff wiki, it won't let me.
- The knowledge base and fanstuff wikis are separate. If you want to have the same account name there, you'll need to create it. — It's dot com 04:12, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
New Messages
If someone leaves you a messsage and right when they leave you a message you go to your talk page? Does the message bar show up? Someone leave me a message on my talk page like: Hi or: Haldo or something and I'll go to my talk page and keep refreshing it. Tampo (T/C) 01:12, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- The act of going to your talk page clears the messages indicator, even if someone was just leaving you a message. — It's dot com 01:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Userbox
My userbox is going horizontally instead of vertically. What do i do?
- Put all the {{userbox}} things on seperate lines, rather than all on one line like you have them. --phlip TC 13:07, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Userpage Fix
It seems my userpage is acting up again around the Binary Translations/Harry's Cake List Area. (Just to let you know, The translation up right now is unanswered) --Dacheatbot · Communicate 17:58, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- I believe the problem stems from the long string used in the caption. It's so long, the thumbnail cannot go full right, and part of the caption is not visible. Shortening the lines will keep the pic from not being so awkwardly far from the right. - Qermaq - (T/C) 18:06, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- So what, use <small> tags? --Dacheatbot · Communicate 18:09, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think that'd make the text too small to read. Why not more frequent line breaks? Maybe every 24 characters? - Qermaq - (T/C) 18:21, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think you see the problem I'm talking about. When I look at my Userpage the side toolbar and everything below Harry's Cake List looks like they have small tags on them --Dacheatbot · Communicate
- This is what I'm talking about --Dacheatbot · Communicate 00:07, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I don't see the issue in the pic, nor do I see it on your page. Fonts look normal here. - Qermaq - (T/C) 17:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- The left side bar has shrunken and so have the tabs and Quickbar --Dacheatbot · Communicate 17:23, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Navigation bar
What could cause the navigation bar squeezed onto the side. And the tabs on the top to become small and displaced.--H*Bad 18:24, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
My contribution
I made a contribution on a page earlier and it was saved. But when I went to the recent changes it disappeared. When I go back to the page its there, just not in the recent changes.--H*Bad 15:28, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- If it was deleted from recent changes but still shows up on your computer, then it's a cache problem similar to the ones you've been having at the fanstuff. — It's dot com 15:38, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Do you see it?--H*Bad 15:40, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- No, and if you did a hard refresh, you wouldn't either. — It's dot com 15:42, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Icons
How do you get character icons to put in your signature?
- Help:Icon. Simple as clicking the Help link in the sidebar and finding your topic there before coming here. — Lapper (talk) 00:33, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
problems loading peasant quest
I have WinXP on my laptop and loaded all activex stuff, removed quicktime as suggested, and still no peasant quest. Alls I get is a black screen. Can you give me some pointers on how to load the game?
Thanks,
Joel, USA
- I may not be very knowledable on this, but you may not have the latest Flash plugin installed, or you may not have this plugin enabled. You should be able to see the flash file itself. — Lapper (talk) 07:26, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Bringing back a word
I made a post here earlier about people saying (WTF). I have found a spot where is it said. Jay said it in an edit summary for Welcome Back. Like I said earlier I think that this should be against the rules and people who say it should be warned.--H*Bad 18:03, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Leave the wiki
What if I want to leave the wiki? How do I do it? Stringbodhunier
- Easy. Simply stop loading the site in your browser. — It's dot com 17:18, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Password forgetting
What happens if someone forgets thier password and if they didn't put in thier e-mail adress so they can't notify anyone about that?
- What account did you register? — It's dot com 23:47, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Actually I see that you went ahead and registered a new account. Did you give up on the first one? — It's dot com 23:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Fanstuff Accounts
I don't know if this has been asked, since I really have to catch a bus right now. If you make a HRWki username, does that give you the same username on the Fanstuff Wiki? The4sword 13:55, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- No, the two are seperate wikis, so you have to register an account there separately. Heimstern Läufer 14:09, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
What's Wrong?
Every time I try to log in to the forum, it shows me the "You may have entered an inactive or invalid username or password" message.-User:Weak Good
- You have to register there. The wiki and the forum are separate. SaltyTalk! 22:05, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thank's Salty!
- I registered, I tried to log in, but it still showed the "You may have entered an inactive or invalid username or password" message.-User:Weak Good

How do you check Email?-User:Weak Good
- You're going to have to be a lot more specific. If you mean how do you check your own email, then to help you we would need all kinds of information about the kind of email account you have, the software you use, and the way you connect to the Internet. If on the off chance you mean how do you watch the new Strong Bad Email, then just go here. — It's dot com 21:02, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Wiki errors
The Wiki is creating an error every time I make an edit. Additionally, it appears that new pages cannot be made (as my "ThisIsATestPageThatWillSoonBeDeleted.com" page showed.) --Jaybor Day (Talk) 00:23, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

I forgot my password!
is it posssible to recover my password? -- Super Martyo boing! 04:52, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm? You're still logged in while adding that. What do you need it for? --DorianGray
- I'm trying to go from IE to Firefox. -- Super Martyo boing! 16:38, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- [edit conflict] Sorry, no. Passwords are stored in an encrypted format that not even sysops and developers can see. As long as the browser cookie hasn't expired on the computer you're using right now (and you don't log out), you'll be able to edit under your name. — It's dot com 05:18, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- You could try the "Email new password" button on the Special:Userlogin page. -- Tom 05:26, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Tried it already. It says that I still have to enter the correct password. -- Super Martyo boing! 16:39, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sweet! It worked! I just need to install flash on Firefox and I'll be done upgrading! -- Super Martyo boing! 00:42, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Time Zones
I don't like how updates are listed in the western American time zones. Not only I, but also TBC live in the Eastern Time Zone, yet I see updates posted on September 1 as posted on August 31. I do, however, understand that the proprieter of this wiki is in one of the western ones. So, why are the updates not posted in TBC's time zone?
- The text on the pages should reflect the eastern US time zone. If you're looking at the wiki's timestamps, the reason it is sometimes different is because the server is located a few thousand miles to the west of the Atlantic, and for administrative purposes it's sensible for it to be set that way. If you creat a username, you can set your profile to translate the wiki server time to your local time, or any time zone you wish. - Qermaq - (T/C) 14:46, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- The updates are in the US Eastern time zone, per our standards. The specific update you are referring to was released just before 15:09 Eastern Time on 31 August 2006. If you are not logged in, the history page should show the UTC time of the edit (in this case 19:09 on 31 August 2006), which at least for this case would still be on the 31st. -- Tom 16:26, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Taking images
How do you actually get the little screenshots of all the different toon/games/whtever in all of the articles?
- Help:Image might be a good place to start. --DorianGray
- It still doesn't really help, I want to know HOW you actually TAKE the pictures
- some instructions. Loafing 20:27, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

- Okay, It doesn't really work on my P.C. but it doesn't matter, thanks anyway

NOEDITSECTION
I was trying to fix up the fun facts of the Everybody Everybody Poster when I realized that there was a _NOEDITSECTION_ there to prevent the edit tabs from interfering with the table. Is there a way to end the NOEDITSECTION for the fun facts? Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place... - The Joe(Talk) 03:02, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
