A !WikiTroll is a person who purposefully defaces a document on a wiki. There are a few methods in place for dealing with !WikiTrolls.
- Any page can be reverted back to a previous version. To do this, simply click "View document history" at the bottom of any page, then click on the date/time stamp next to the archived version you want to revert back to. Next, click the "Edit this ARCHIVE VERSION of this document" link at the bottom of the page. Click "Save".
- After repeated defacings, an offender's IP address can be blocked by several users who have admin rights. These admins pay careful attention to this page, and will block IP addresses where/when appropriate.
Known Offenders
If you see any suspicious, defamatory, or objectionable behavior by any individuals on our wiki, please add their username and/or domain name to the list following the same format as the example shown below. The dates with an individual's name indicate how many offenses the person has committed and when they were committed. For our purposes, an "offense" is defined as the defacement of a single document of our wiki. Admins should block the IP address of the offender after three offenses within a two month period. If an offense remains listed here after two months, it should be removed.
