From time to time, subtitles are used in the Homestar Runner cartoons to translate unintelligible speech, as well as musical sing-a-longs.

Appearances

• The Cheat's Character Video — All of The Cheat's lines are subtitled.
• Email little questions — Strong Bad gets an e-mail from Sweden, and because it is written in poor English, he replies in poor English, with subtitles in proper English, although the proper and improper subtitles do not often match up.
• Email local news — During the SkyCheat scene, The Cheat's lines are subtitled.
• Email rock opera — When a word is spoken in the rock opera, it appears on the bottom of the screen.
• Email looking old — When Strong Bad gets a "lace-lift", his speech becomes so mumbled, it is done in subtitles.

Musical

• During the length of the actual song in Trogday 08, when naming off letters, subtitles appear to show the word Strong Bad mentions.
• During the rock opera song, all of the words included into the song are subtitled.
• Both the introduction song for Whaddya Know Haddi-man in for kids, and the stave it off song, are subtitled.

Sometimes, Characters make up words.

Appearances

• Fan club — Strong Bad makes up "egsmsploded".
• Dictionary — A lot of "Strong-Badian" words are mentioned.

Edit Shortage

I am appalled at the lack of edits lately. I am very appalled. Just recently, the Wiki was unedited for nearly half a day. How appalling.

So? We went without any real edit things twice or so since I've been here, not including this time. ColdReactive 14:52, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Well thats just too bad for you Mr. Sam concord,
you probably haven't noticed yet but Im not doing a Email ever again
In fact there hasn't been a new cartoon for over 6 months.
Ever sense strong mad and the cheat died in a volley ball mishap.

I don't like to talk about it, because it still brings me to tears just thinking about it.
But i think i can do it just this one time. I had my back turned for most of it but what i did see was. First there was lots of gasps, then it got really dark, next i heard Bubs say something, and when i turned around there were fish sticks everywhere and the cheat and strong Mad were gone.
Thats it i cant stand to think of it anymore (sob) this non existent Email is over. Maybe a few months from now a un-named fan will some how find the words of this email and put it on the homestar wiki. Until then, its a fair-well to all my dog food gangstas it was fun guys.
