"Often appears in the Homestar Runner universe" is a phrase that often appears on the Homestar Runner Wiki. In far too many cases, the entire introduction consists of some variant of this vanilla phrase plus maybe one more sentence. Thus, we have scores of articles that are essentially nothing but lists. While it's important for us to be as comprehensive as possible with regard to our subject matter, surely these articles could be improved first by removing this tired phrase and its ilk and second by expanding the introductions into something more meaningful. This project page is being set up to determine whether we as a wiki feel that this is enough of a problem to take action on, and, if so, how best to go about it. Please comment on the talk page if you have an opinion or some suggestions.

The following list was compiled after a brief search and should not be taken as being complete. Also, while the checked boxes indicate that attention has been directed toward those articles to remove the clichéd wording, they may still need some cleanup or further expansion.
