Everybody to the Limit

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 30 (Jul 26–Aug 1)

It does end on August 2nd, right? Anyways, how about Everybody to the Limit? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

That'd be a good one. MHarrington
Good. Also, I beat RickTommy. :D PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
No, July has 31 days. The week ends on August 1. The Knights Who Say Ni 15:22, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Ah. Thanks for clearing that up for me. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
Yes! Everybody to the Limit is a great idea.

Credenza

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 31 (Aug 2–8)

I'd like to go with a pseudocharacter for this week. Charlemagne seems like a good choice, but Wormdingler and Credenza would work too. --Kingdom Stars 12:23, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Credenza would work, I suppose. MHarrington 02:08, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
I like Credenza. --79.221.47.243 22:40, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

SXSW Panel - 14 Mar 2005

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 32 (Aug 9–15)

For this week, how about something proposed long ago: the SXSW Panel from March 2005. MHarrington 01:05, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

It's comical and worthy of being featured. --209.148.176.136 12:11, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
We could do NYU Talk - 1 Mar 2005. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
For the record, the reason MHarrington suggested the interview he did was because of This. We opted for The Couch then. I like this specific interview, so I'm for it. StrongAwesome 20:50, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
This seems like a good idea. The only mild concern I have (which I alluded to last time) is the possibility that the writeup might be too short (it's a fairly short interview). If we can get a good writeup, though, I'm all for it. Heimstern Läufer 08:31, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
As I said, I think a more notable interview/public appearance should be featured instead. And what about my 20X6 suggestion? RickTommy (edits) 08:42, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
RickTommy, sometimes consensus doesn't go your direction. I think in this case that's what's happening: people are disagreeing with both of your points and favouring another option besides your suggestion. You've clearly stated that you think a more substantial appearance should be chosen and that you think this week should be 20X6. Others disagree. Constantly reiterating is not going to change people's minds, rather, it's going to make them annoyed. Heimstern Läufer 08:49, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Per that guy above me. --209.148.176.136 21:34, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
RickTommy, I think you really need to focus on everything else besides just this. You're really hogging it. Why don't you do Recent Changes instead? You can edit often and not just hog! My vote anyway is really for any interview. We haven't done any in several months. doctorwho295 15 June 2010
We really need to focus on some interview for this week. MHarrington 06:38, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
All Things Considered Interview - 8 May 2005? Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 21:54, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Play Date

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 33 (Aug 16–22)

I hope I as an Anonny am tolerated to make this suggestion. It's been on my mind for some time. Shorts seem to get featured rather rarely for some reason and this is one of my favorites. --79.221.32.11 10:54, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Yeah it has been a while since we've featured a short. we could also do Ballad of The Sneak, One Two, One Two or No Hands On Deck Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 17:50, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Play Date sounds like a really good one. I still think that's one of the most fun ideas TBC've had yet. Heimstern Läufer 16:33, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Strong Bad Sings

How about Strong Bad Sings instead? RickTommy (edits) 01:06, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

If you're talking about the toon, that's too short to work. If you're talking about the CD, we already did that. I'm all for featuring Credenza. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
For once, RickTommy, actually focus on what is already suggested instead of hogging the spotlight. --Kingdom Stars 02:24, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Stinkoman 20X6

How about something 20X6-related instead? Perhaps either Make-O Your Own Stinko or Stinkoman 20X6 (I know we're waiting until it's finished, but at the rate the site is going, I don't think it'll ever be finished)? RickTommy (edits) 12:18, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

How about discussion rather than just throwing out ideas while ignoring previous suggestions? Heimstern Läufer 12:31, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
If we're going to do an interview or public appearance, how about a more notable one? I can't really think of one (I'm not really into that sort of stuff), and besides, I wholeheartedly believe that we should do something 20X6-related this week. RickTommy (edits) 12:38, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
RickTommy, that's the same thing you suggested for last week before it was deleted. So stop hogging the spotlight. --209.148.176.136 12:49, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
What's more, Stinkoman 20X6 is still incomplete. And judging by how things are looking on the website now, I think it will always remain incomplete. MHarrington 02:10, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Um, I said almost those exact words. Yes, it doesn't look like it will ever be finished. So it's no use waiting for it to be finished before we can feature it. RickTommy (edits) 06:10, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
We could do Make-o Your Own Stinko... PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
I'd prefer to wait a while before featuring this one; too early to give up hope. But Sinko-related articles are just as good! --Stux 21:57, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Sorry if I sound pushy but I really really think Make-o Your Own Stinko should be featured. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Heavy Lourde

It's probably major enough to warrant a feature. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

Yes. 121.214.45.225 06:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC) (RickTommy)

Week before Halloween 2010

It will soon be that time of year once again, All Hallows Eve. Traditionally, we have two Halloween-themed articles, one for the week before Halloween (a minor Halloween toon or something Halloween-related) and one for the week during Halloween (a major Halloween toon). Anyway, for the week before Halloween, I'm thinking of a Puppet thing, Homestar vs. Little Girl 2 (this one even mentions that a Halloween toon would be released later in the week). MHarrington 16:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

How about That-a-Ghost instead? And since there are hundreds of Ween-themed articles on this wiki, how about one the week after Ween as well? RickTommy (edits) 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
I don't think we should do more than two. It'd be just too much of an awesome thing. Heimstern Läufer 21:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm not saying I'm in favor of doing three weeks, but if we did do it, then we would have to do the Fan Costumes series. Okay, I'm done. And as for the week before Halloween, I think we've just done Parsnips A-Plenty recently. How long has it been since we've done a Puppet Stuff toon? MHarrington 04:39, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
I support featuring That-A-Ghost. --Power Pie 12:02, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree with MHarrington - 1 vote for the Puppet Thingy. (That Anonny Guy)--79.221.32.92 10:03, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Would it be too soon to do a set of dailies the week before Halloween? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
No, but as per tradition, we usually have one thing going before the week. Maybe after Halloween? MHarrington 16:37, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking we could have Halloween-themed dailies. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 21:01, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I'd hold off on doing dailies for a while. The general rule is for there to be at least 6 month spacing between sets of dailies, and it would only be 5 since our last, if this would be done. StrongAwesome 22:25, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Week of Halloween 2010

For the week during Halloween, I'm thinking Happy Hallow-day. It's so different from anything else. MHarrington 16:52, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd like to see either 3 Times Halloween Funjob or Jibblies 2 instead. RickTommy (edits) 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Hmm..... have we done Most in the Graveyard yet? I support the Happy Hallow-day idea too, just throwing in another idea if anyone wants it. doctorwho295 8 August 2010
Doomy Tales of The Macabre, perhaps? --PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
I wouldn't do something so recent. Jibblies 2 or something older would have my vote. (That Anonny Guy)--79.221.32.92 10:06, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
We have a lot of suggestions, so maybe we could do a Halloween daily? Has that been done before? doctorwho295 17 August 2010
A series of dailies? No, that hasn't been done, but I also don't really think it should be. Halloween toons are some of the largest on the site, and they pretty much all deserve a full week, I think. Heimstern Läufer 21:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I agree that we should stick to a week-long feature on Halloween. A daily the week before might not be a bad idea, though. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:13, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
And even without the issue of the H'we'en articles being too important for a daily, there is also the fact that there are always six of them available at a time (less if we don't see a new one this year), making a daily impossible. 121.214.45.225 06:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC) (RickTommy)

Where's The Cheat?

I'm suprised it hasn't been featured yet - I think it's the toon that most emphasises the site. RickTommy (edits) 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. Let's do it. doctorwho295 8 August 2010
Third-ed. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:31, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Sloshy

For Aug 16-22. RickTommy (edits) 08:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

What's so special about August 16 that would make you want to feature Sloshy then? phlip TC 10:40, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
concert originally was released on August 20, which is during that week. That's nearest I can guess. --DorianGray 10:53, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
I think sloshy is a fine choice for an FA. I don't think we should bend over backward to time it for the anniversary, though. Heimstern Läufer 21:55, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm gonna have to go with Heimstern on this one. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

sisters

Before I forget, I had previously suggested this one in the old format but was too soon to feature. I think it'd be a nice feature for the next time we do an email. --Stux 21:57, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure if it's important enough for a week to itself... RickTommy (edits) 07:36, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Why not? I think it's a real classic and would make a good feature. (That Anonny Guy)--79.221.32.92 10:02, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
It's too short. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Gavin

I wrote a potential FA writeup for Gavin a while ago, and I'd still like to hear people's opinions on it. --DorianGray 22:01, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

The writeup looks good. I'm all for adding it to the queue. --Stux 22:06, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

On Point Kings

I think we should do an article on the On Point Kings before the year ends. MHarrington 18:32, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Sure, but you or me is going to have to consult higher authority for a date. doctorwho295 12 August 2010
Probably after Halloween? MHarrington 01:30, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
I'd say it's a good choice of article; lots of info about a fairly obscure group. I think it'll get into the queue sometime, after Halloween is a strong possibility. Incidentally, there's some discussion on the talk page for this page about how to decide the order of the queue. Heimstern Läufer 01:37, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
It really doesn't matter when it will be in the queue. But anyway, support. 121.214.45.225 06:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC) (RickTommy)

Fonts

It's the biggest page on this wiki - I think it deserves to be featured sometime soon. RickTommy (edits) 10:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

It seems too list-like and without enough prose to make a good feature to me. Heimstern Läufer 17:05, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Per Heimstern. Although we wre able to feature lists in the past by putting key examples in the writeup, I highly doubt that will work for the fonts page. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Strong Bad and Strong Sad's Relationship

The most obvious relationship on the site, and one that I have audibly cried at. RickTommy (edits) 10:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

An interesting topic, but the intro is pretty short. Could we maybe expand it? Then it'd probably make a fine feature. Heimstern Läufer 17:03, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
I expanded it some:
Strong Bad's relationship with Strong Sad usually consists of Strong Bad hurting or making fun of Strong Sad, though not all the time. He has given Strong Sad various insulting nicknames and often hurts him. However, Strong Sad and Strong Bad occasionally get along, usually when Strong Bad is in need of an assistant. It appears that Strong Bad is at least partly responsible for his little brother's depression; Strong Sad writes that in his big brother's absence, "[He feels] cooler, and less like [he sucks] so bad.".
PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:11, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Answering Machine

An important item. RickTommy (edits) 10:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

I like it, but it seems too short. I'll try to expand it as much as I can, but in it's current state I don't think it's good.... doctorwho295 17 August 2010
I agree with the above. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I think we've done this article already. MHarrington 16:40, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
I don't think we have. It looks like we've done Marzipan's Answering Machine before, but Answering Machine doesn't appear in bold on the nominations page. The Knights Who Say Ni 17:34, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Theme Song Video

One of the earliest toons on the site. RickTommy (edits) 10:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but awesome as that song is, that toon's way too short to work well on the Main Page. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

The Reddest Radish

Another early toon that I believe is overdue to be featured. RickTommy (edits) 10:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Yes! Yes! Let's do it! PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

A Daily

Sometime soon, can we have a week of daily articles? I was thinking maybe stuff on Old Flash Stuff or some Main Pages. RickTommy (edits) 10:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

A Main Page daily would be awesome! PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:45, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
As long as it's in November or later, for the at least 6 month spacing of dailies, A week of dailies would be nice. Although, hard to choose just 7 Main Pages to feature. StrongAwesome 22:25, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

No Hands on Deck!

How about it? It's a great toon and I thinks it's definitely worth being featured. Oh and also, RickTommy, stop with all the suggestions please. Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 16:33, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

I support this nomination. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 01:22, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

for kids
