[edit] Transparency

Clear Chimendez.PNG

Chimendez transparent.png
Transparency against a red background.

The version that you reverted to (the current version), Bad Bad Guy is not transparent at all... describe what you mean by "Reverted to version as of 21:51, 29 July 2008; more transparent before". You also reverted another updated graphic I posted over at Image:Red copyright.png. What browser do you use that is having all this difficulty with transparent .png files? LobStoR 00:39, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Mozilla Firefox, but I first saw your version while using Internet Explorer 6 or 7 at school. BBG 00:46, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
It's transparent at home, under FF now? Hmm, I wonder if it's a Mac vs PC thing or something? What exact versions are you running? I currently viewing it as non-transparent under both Firefox 3.0.8 and Internet Explorer 8.0 under Windows 7 (maybe Win7 is different somehow). LobStoR 00:47, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Firefox 3.0.8 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 BBG 01:00, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm not even seeing it as transparent on a Mac... Firefox 3.0.8 / Mac OS X 10.5.6
Firefox 3.0.8, Mac OS X 10.5.6
Internet Explorer 8.0, Firefox 3.0.8, on Windows 7
Non-transparency
So bizarre. LobStoR 01:11, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
To me it looks just like in the example picture. i.e. big white box. -170.223.0.54 01:16, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, it doesn't look transparent against the black background, but at least my signature doesn't have an unnecessary black square. BBG 21:21, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Does Image:Chimendez transparent.png have a black square around it? If so, can you screenshot it? It just seems like nobody else is able to duplicate it - in which case, I am replacing the image with the transparent one, again (please visit the linked page itself, as these ones are on a black table, and will of course have a black box :-P).
