Fading

Sometimes, the characters of the Homestar Runner universe will refer to fading other characters, usually Coach Z.

Appearances

• Email new hands — Coach Z debuts his song, "These Peoples Try to Fade Me", while Strong Bad responds that he wasn't trying to fade him. A full version of this song was later released on Strong Bad Sings And Other Type Hits.
• Email marzipan — hooray4dolphins asks, "are you trying to fade me?"
• Scroll Button Songs — In one scroll button song, Coach Z says, "And if you're tryin' to fade me then ya must smoke crack!"
• Some Puppet Stuff — Puppet Homestar tells Mike Chapman he's going to "fade him, like some business" while they're playing basketball.
• Coach Z's Character Video — Coach Z starts to sing "These peoples try to fade me".
• Wonkavision Magazine Interview — Coach Z says the world might hear him on the mic when the peoples stop trying to fade him. Strong Bad also says that you can't fade Pom Pom, but you can fade Coach Z.
