Strong Bad's song from different town about changing Free Country, USA created eight character variations.

Image Variation Description
"Hello!" Talking Poopsmith "The Poopsmith, he could talk."

Two years after this email's release, it is implied that the real Poopsmith breaks his vow of silence in senior prom. Then, in email thunder, The Poopsmith breaks his vow to sing Strong Bad's 200th email song. In this appearance, he is voiced by John Linnell.

Rocker Marzipan
If the Flash file of the email is decompiled, a pink spiky-haired Marzipan appears.

"And Marzipan would rock."

Marzipan later founds a rock band, Cool Tapes, in the big toon Cool Things and performs a rock solo in the short One Two, One Two.

Big Ol' Tree "And The Stick would be this big ol' tree that'd try to eat everyone except The Cheat and me." Strong Mad's relationship with the tree is uncertain.
"I'm evil." Evil Strong Sad
Strong Sad wears fake horns and a fake tail at the end of the email.

"My stupid baby brother would have been born with horns and a tail."

"Check it out, yo!" Jacketed Coach Z "Coach Z would wear this cool jacket." The jacket reads "Totally Style!" and has a drawing of a thumbs-up on it.
"I quit!" Starless Homestar Runner "And Homestar just couldn't hack it."

This email was the first toon since Marshmallow's Last Stand in which Homestar's star was removed.

Main Pointmaker #7 ABA Basketball Pom Pom "And Pom Pom wouldn't change at all 'cept he'd look like an ABA Basketball."

Another Pom that resembled a basketball was seen in Pom Pom, Too.

"DaAaAa. I'm forever your girl!" Modestly Hot Homsar
Early designs of Modestly Hot Homsar were featured in the Sketchbook during the week of July 19, 2004.

"And this little weirdo would be a modestly hot girl to help me through the hard times. You know, the kind that are only sorta hot so they don't mess around with other guys."

Modestly Hot Homsar speaks in Homsar's normal masculine voice. Upon coming up with this character, Strong Bad believes his imagination is temporarily broken (and decides he's right when the best thing in the world he can think of is beef stew).

Modestly Hot Homsar made a cameo appearance in an Easter egg in the following email, flashback. According to Matt Chapman in the Giant Magazine Interview, Modestly Hot Homsar's shape was based on a past Miss California whom he "traced fairly closely."
