Dangeresque is a pseudo-trilogy of amateur movies made by Strong Bad. It originates in the email "stunt double", where Strong Bad was asked if he did all his own stunts. He says he does, and shows his new film Dangeresque II: This Time, It's Not Dangeresque 1 as proof.
The Dangeresque films are shot with The Cheat's video camera, then very sloppily edited together. Strong Bad plays Dangeresque, a wisecracking action hero who fights both "the law and the crime" with the help of Renaldo, played by Coach Z. The other main characters play small parts in the films, and Strong Sad is not-so-subtly edited in as a stunt double for any character that might get hit in the head or take a painful fall, despite Strong Bad's claims that he does all the stunts himself. Dangeresque's method of crime fighting is patent nonsense, but the timely delivery of catch phrases like "Looks like I'm gonna have to jump!" always makes the ladies smile.

Plot
In the first movie, the plot revolves around Dangeresque meeting Dangeresque Too, who helps him get a serum of some sort to Cutesy Buttons to keep her from getting kidnapped, while battling the evil Perducci. In the second film, Dangeresque battles for an important tape and comes upon an unnamed villain played by Bubs, who must be working with the character played by Strong Mad in Dangeresque II in keeping the tape from Dangeresque. Of course, Strong Sad is called upon in both movies to do the painful stunts.

Music
Since nothing says vintage cop shows like a funky groove, Dangeresque employs a Shaft-style anthem in "The Theme from Dangeresque II." The end credits of Dangeresque 1 have a softer, 1980s buddy movie feel with "Today is Alright 4 2Nite." The underlying score of the films themselves are short, sparse, rather campy interludes between scenes sung by Strong Bad.
Fun Facts
- Dangeresque's cool glasses are illustrated in the liner notes of the Strong Bad Sings CD. Strong Bad himself is obviously the illustrator, since he does not fail to remember the hatching (see suntan).
- The Brothers Chaps had originally named the series Danger Man. However, they changed the name to Dangeresque after learning that the name had already been used as the title of the 1960's prelude to classic British Television series The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan.
- Dangeresque is probably based on the attraction Sounds Dangerous starring Drew Carey at Disney World's MGM studios. In Sounds Dangerous, Drew Carey portrays an undercover cop, and faces a villain named Lefty Moreno, who is disguised as a circus performer, The Great Rinaldi.
- In the email the movies, it is said the Dangeresque 3 will come out "We'll See...". It also shows 4 crossed out dates. "Now Playing" is written above the poster. Within the same email, Strong Sad, while in the theater, lists every movie that every actor in the film was in. When Strong Bad tells him to shut up, Strong Sad says "He was in Dangeresque 1 and 2!"
- When Strong Bad is interviewed in DNA Evidence, he acts in character and costume as Dangeresque, and the Dangeresque theme often plays in the background. The "Looks like I'm gonna have to jump!" catchphrase also makes an appearance.
