- This song is included in the Rocks the 80s edition of the Guitar Hero video game franchise. This is the second time that a song from the Homestar Runner body of work has appeared in a Guitar Hero title, the first being Strong Bad's Trogdor as an unlockable bonus in Guitar Hero II.
- The percussion intro of this song is very similar to that of "Working for the Weekend" by Loverboy.
- The line "Breakin' the chains" might be a reference to the Dokken song of the same name.
- The guitar intro to the song is very similar to lead guitar intro in "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Alice Cooper.
- This song was covered by sloshy for Limozeen vs. Sloshy. The full CD version of this song can also be heard in that toon.
- This is another mention of pants.
