- Baddest of the Bands — Marzipan gives Strong Bad an autographed Cool Tapes picture reading, "To awesome Strong Bad. You are not awesome. Love, Marzipan." (The word got used in a contradictory, but still grammatically correct, manner.)
- The "I Am Awesomer Than You" sign and Strong Badia the Free use "awesome" as part of words that official dictionaries do not contain ("awesomosity" for the latter), but the Urban Dictionary has in entries predating those works.
