Watch the [[Theme Song Video]] and look at Pom Pom's belt when he's practicing his karate, and you'll see exactly what this object is (or was). If you watch his bandana as well, you'll notice that it's never shown from the back or side, so the knot is never visible. When Mike borrowed his bandana for Strong Bad's blindfold, he needed to add the knot for side views. So apparently he grabbed part of Pom Pom's belt from the same costume and recolored it. I edited the mentions of Strong Bad's blindfold in the Transcript and Real-World References for accuracy. Specifically, I removed claims that it is a "Kamikaze bandana". While kamikaze pilots probably did often wear bandanas, this was a much older Japanese tradition and nothing specific to kamikaze. Actually, a kamikaze's bandana would be more likely to have a slogan written on it, particularly ''banzai'' ("ten-thousand years").

Of course, if someone feels that there's enough false association in people's minds between this bandana and kamikaze (like there could be with The Karate Kid, although the two bandanas side-by-side really don't look that similar), go ahead and revert. Watch the [[Theme Song Video]] and look at Pom Pom's belt when he's practicing his karate, and you'll see exactly what this object is (or was). If you watch his bandana as well, you'll notice that it's never shown from the back or side, so the knot is never visible. When Mike borrowed his bandana for Strong Bad's blindfold, he needed to add the knot for side views. So apparently he grabbed part of Pom Pom's belt from the same costume and recolored it. I edited the mentions of Strong Bad's blindfold in the Transcript and Real-World References for accuracy. Specifically, I removed claims that it is a "Kamikaze bandana". While kamikaze pilots probably did often wear bandanas, this was a much older Japanese tradition and nothing specific to kamikaze. Actually, a kamikaze's bandana would be more likely to have a slogan written on it, particularly ''banzai'' ("ten-thousand years").

Of course, if someone feels that there's enough false association in people's minds between this bandana and kamikaze (like there could be with The Karate Kid, although the two bandanas side-by-side really don't look that similar), go ahead and revert. Sometimes it's a million to one; sometimes, like the infamous Family Guy, it's a hotly contested oscillation, and an uneasy stability. But, aside from obvious objective realities about the 'toons, the Wiki is a joint agreement of subjective opinions. If, years in the future, a generation of wikiers with completely different opinions about these things were in charge, the Wiki would adapt to the averaged contours of their opinions. Gentlemen(?), gentlemen! The WRWiki is a lively place that often reminds me of gas in a compressed space. You have all these molecules bouncing and slamming and whipping around...well, to make the analogy make more sense, the molecules would have to have feelings. And know how to edit wiki-style. And know something about Homestar Runner. Regardless, sometimes the best laid edits of mice and diffrent mice get reverted, or changed, or deleted. It's frustrating, especially for those who want desperately to contribute. And sometimes this leads to a bit of testiness, or outright name-calling between users when things don't go exactly as they planned. My advice, as trite as it may sound, is ''relax''. Contributions, recognition and ''acceptance'' stack up with time, and letting set-backs freak you out or drag you down (to the point of feeling a persecution complex) isn't positive for anyone.

Taking things too personally can lead to the, um, Dark Side of Wikidom. Let me close with an awful limerick about a real experience I had that sort of relates to the issue:

I think the following Real World Reference should be added:

"50% less death" implies a ratio of the total number of deaths related to both games (either over the span of their existance, or per some time span). This makes it very difficult to judge your odds of death occuring, since the popularity of Russian roulette is difficult to guage, and the popularity of colour roulette would be impossible.

When Coach Z walks in front of the Green screen, the edge of the carpet can be seen through his ankles. This should not happen, as Coach Z's feet would fully block the view of the carpet whether the green screen is replacing them or not.

The safest approach would be to just call it an iMac. Anyway, it's likely that TBC didn't have one in mind more than the other when they made this toon.
