Strong Sad is a great guy, and he actually got along with Strong Bad when they were little, and I know why Strong Bad turned on him.

I noticed this image was updated by someone, but then reverted. While I agree with this revert, as the new image had too much empty space, I do think a new image would be nice. Why? Well, you can see Strong Sad has a crush on Marzipan in Strong Sad's charactor video where Marzipan is recording it. At the end, Strong Sad says "When lovers colide".

Call it a shot in the dark, but this looks suspiciously like Strong Sad, doesn't it? Guessing by context, the image here seems to be of Hamlet. And it makes sense, too - Hamlet is perhaps the greatest chronically depressed character in literature. If this is in fact a common way of portraying Hamlet, can anyone verify a connection between Hamlet's image and Strong Sad's origin?

That's a really good addition to his character page. But I have another band that he ''probably'' listens to.

What about They Might Be Giants? He quoted "Don't Let's Start" on his blog once (''"Everybody dies frustrated and sad, and that is beautiful."''), and during the Experimental Film commentary, he seemed to be defending the band (or at least the band's name) when Strong Bad and Homestar misname TMBG.

==Visual similarities to Creepy Comb-over Strong Bad==
Senor Cardgage has many physical features that are similar to those of Strong Bad (ie. boxing gloves and mask, no shirt, black pants, etc.) TBC obviously patterned him after Strong Bad's general appearance when they created him; however, in the Homestar Runner universe, it is possible that Strong Bad actually patterned his own appearance after Senor Cardgage. It would make sense that Little Strong Bad, after living down the street from him for a while and coming to believe that he is one of the coolest guys ever, might decide to look, act, and maybe even sound as much as possible like the good Senor. It is never stated directly this is actually the case, but it is implied in the email [[kind of cool]] when Strong Bad describes his tall, dumpy alternate self (Creepy Comb-Over Story Strong Bad) as an exact duplicate of Senor Cardgage. — [[User:Ashen|Ashen]]

I wanted to make a comment about the NES endings easter egg, particularly the Metroid ending, and it didn't seem appropriate to bring it up in the cartoon discussion (plus it wouldn't make sense to anyone besides us). Since you don't have a listed e-mail, I'll bring it up here. The screen that it shows, "You Fulfiled Your Mission", et. al., either features a Samus Aran in her normal suit or, if you enter a certain code (the famed JUSTIN BAILEY ------ ------ code, for example), a suitless Samus, as it shows in this instance. VGMuseum shows both variants as an animated gif. Both variants do not show in the same ending, you either get the normal variant or the suitless variant if you put in a suitable code. It is the following screen which is then based upon time, and that screen does not feature any sort of text. When the game is completed under 3 hours, that screen also shows Samus in a red suit...whereas if Samus is suitless, she will always be seen in a green suit on the first screen. Anyway, I just felt like mentioning it. By the time you read this, I will probably have edited the page again and I wanted to explain the reasoning behind it instead of it potentially resulting in a siutation where we are constantly changing each others' edits.
