Bubs' "Anything Goes!" Sausage
From what I can tell, Bubs grinds the following into sausage:
* Raw t-bone steak
* Yellow tennis ball (or possibly a lemon)
* Box of General Tso's Chicken
21:00, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

:Yes, that looks right. It's definitely a tennis ball, though. — 21:06, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Makin' it Rain
Just thinkin' that Pom Pom's animation reminds me of the practice of "Makin' it rain" as frequently seen in rap music videos. This is especially topical, as Adam "Pacman" Jones, cornerback for the Tennessee Titans, was seen doing this very act in a strip club, and it lead to a shooting that left a bouncer paralyzed, and Jones suspended for a year from the NFL. -Telamon
Canibus reference?
Rapper Canibus recently launched the Poet Laureate Infinity (www.poetlaureateinfinity.com) site, allowing people to mix the vocals and beats from one of his new songs. Very similar to this toon. Coincidence, or not?
Big Fun
Did anyone else think that the MixMasta800 was a lot more fun than it a simple SFX mini-game should have been? Also(on a completely unrelated subject) this hasn't been added to the "TV Time Toons Menu" yet (I would link, but why bother? All of us know it). Does it(this short) link from the main page? Stinkoblade 01:03, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
:It is linked from the What's New? oval button, yes. It just hasn't been added to the toons menu. --DorianGray 01:06, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Good to know. Now to ponder if it is a goof worthy of addition to da page...or just the fact they are probably working on a long toon and didn't remember to add it. Maybe the new sbemail even. Anyway, I'm still wondering about the funitude of the MixMasta. Stinkoblade 01:12, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
:"Funitude" is usually a great topic for the Forum rather than the Talk page, which is generally reserved for discussing the article about the toon rather than the toon itself. 07:55, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
BPM
I dunno if this is worthy of inclusion in the article or not, but just by recording the samples and looking for the loop points, it looks like most of the samples are in the area of 9.164 seconds long. Taking each of Homestar's one twos as a beat, that's 16 beats per sample. So 104.757 BPM, for all of waiting to do a techno remix. I thought it was obviously a reference to Han Solo - after all, it's only one phoneme away. Plus we just had the 30th anniversary of Ep IV so a Star Wars reference right now would make sense. 71.165.55.159 09:07, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes, it is slightly different, it sounds as if the basketball is being bounced a little further away -JamesDean 05:06, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

:That's possible. Although, if you noticed, they're all looping. So there's a looping artifact in some of them. eg. Homestar says "One" differently than the other times, Marzipan has a short noticeable pause between riffs. The others might contain something similar but unnoticeable. ::I don't think it's that random, though - it lifts off his head and then heads diagonally to the corner, where it bounces against the edges of the screen at 90-degree angles (except for the last one which is a bit more obtuse), like the objects in the aforementioned screensaver. - 06:01, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
::::Actually, in Main Page 14, there was a shower curtain that closed when you moused over one of the buttons. No evidence of a shower door. I'm sure that when I first watched the toon, SB made the sound of tapping the monitor, because I immediately thought of it as a fourth-wall joke. I must admit that at first I thought it was the shower door or something, but I'm pretty sure it was meant to be the brush we was tapping, because you can kinda see how he would be singing into the 'microphone'. Homsar Solo was my favorite part! -User: Sb100

He's very clearly tapping on the shower door / fourth wall. This also fits with him saying "need to get the acoustics checked in here". Acoustics refers to the way sound bounces around in a space, usually an enclosed space like a room. "In here" also refers to a closed space. He is clearly tapping on the door or fourth wall. If other people disagree, I think this should be put to a vote. -- Sam

:I disagree. Just because he's referring to a closed space (the shower) doesn't mean that his tapping is against the shower door. One does not necessarily lead logically to the other. He's using a brush as a microphone, and the sound that's made when he taps is the typical sound a microphone makes when tapped. In addition, he immediately asks, "Is this thing broken?" right after tapping. That says to me that it makes more logical sense for him to be tapping on the brush rather than the door. It's also more in line with his overall character. 19:36, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
::Furthermore, what are you saying here? Your statement contradicts itself. The statement "The toon and the game were separate Flash files" and "The toon originally probably had the game embedded in it" seem to contradict each other. I realize it's possible to embed one file in another, but for all intents and purposes, that makes the "game" part of the same file as the toon. The important point from the original fact (which I'm going to put back) is that the MixMastah appeared at the end of the toon in the same Flash file as the toon itself, rather than redirecting to another file like it does now. The technical details of having two separate files providing the resources is, in fact, irrelevant because of the original presentation.
"One, Two" syncronization.
The reason this appears to be out of sync is most CPUs at the moment cannot handle that much data decompiling in the flash in high quality. Viewing the .swf and setting it's quality to low (on my Athlon 64 4200+) gives the toon perfect sync. Will other people confirm this for me.

:: Additionally, it varies by scene to some degree. In some scenes, Homestar's "One two" and his steps are pretty much in time with each other. In other scenes, it's way off.
The fact that the toon is listed on the main page only and not the toon page should be removed, IMO, because that's true of every new toon that's released for about a week...unless listing this fact and then taking it down later is the common policy and I'm not aware of it.
::::Actually, in Main Page 14, there was a shower curtain that closed when you moused over one of the buttons. No evidence of a shower door. I'm sure that when I first watched the toon, SB made the sound of tapping the monitor, because I immediately thought of it as a fourth-wall joke. I just watched it again and the sound has changed so it sounds like he's tapping a mic, but the way his hand moves, it looks like he's tapping the monitor. I must admit that at first I thought it was the shower door or something, but I'm pretty sure it was meant to be the brush we was tapping, because you can kinda see how he would be singing into the 'microphone'. Homsar Solo was my favorite part! -User: Sb100

:To address the fist-moving-left-to-right-not-forward-and-back issue, I think it makes perfect sense that his fist would appear to move like that if he's moving depthwise instead of lengthwise. It's just in the foreground! -- 23:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

::I know I'm late to the party here, so I'll just reiterate what others have already said: Several people have referred to a shower door. I don't see a shower door anywhere. There's a shower curtain, but it's pulled back. It seems plain to me that Strong Bad is singing into his brush as though it were a microphone (it even makes a noise like a mic when he taps on it). — It's dot com 19:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

:To address the fist-moving-left-to-right-not-forward-and-back issue, I think it makes perfect sense that his fist would appear to move like that if he's moving depthwise instead of lengthwise. It's just in the foreground! -- 23:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

::I know I'm late to the party here, so I'll just reiterate what others have already said: Several people have referred to a shower door. I don't see a shower door anywhere.

::And, as It's dot com mentioned, what's with the link to a Wikipedia policy? There weren't any personal attacks in this that I was aware of, and we're also not Wikipedia (although I'd like to think that HRWiki's and WP's policies share some common ground, based on common sense). :P 18:30, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

::I know I'm late to the party here, so I'll just reiterate what others have already said: Several people have referred to a shower door. I don't see a shower door anywhere. If several weeks had passed and they still had not updated it, chances are they had not intended to put it on the Toons menu at all or they had just completely forgotten about it, which would make it notable. == Playing Carol ==

:When Carol is being played, all 6 strings are seen vibrating, but only one tone is produced. In addition, the entire strings are vibrating, showing that there is no fingerings are being made on the fretboard. Even if all strings are tuned to the same note, this is very unlikely to be physically possible.
I moved this here because it seemed sort of true and kind of interesting but too nitpicky for the article, especially given everything else we see that is impossible but that we accept at face value because it's a cartoon. — It's dot com 21:22, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
:Actually, all the strings could be sympathetically vibrating along, and even the part of the string between Marzipan's "finger" and the nut could sympathetically vibrate. That's a pretty stretchy explanation, but it is one. Sure, the vibrations would be less visible, but hey, it's a cartoon, and we already know the laws of physics are different in FCUSA. 21:27, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Clarification (comment on the content)
Originally, the toon and the game were separate Flash files - they were never put together in one single file. The toon originally probably had the game embedded in it - there was no page redirect. This rant is done. --Addict 2006 22:41, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
:Where is a rant? And why are you lecturing us in the thread heading? — It's dot com 01:56, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

The reason this appears to be out of sync is most CPUs at the moment cannot handle that much data decompiling in the flash in high quality. Viewing the .swf and setting it's quality to low (on my Athlon 64 4200+) gives the toon perfect sync. Will other people confirm this for me.

In the Strong Bad Email "animal," Strong Bad settles on Sterrance as what he would look like if he were his own made up animal. This is only decided after a series of other failures (documented in Made Up Strong Bad Animals). He has Strong Bad's face-mask-shaped-thing, a yellow dangly tongue and wings.

Strong Bad thinks that Sterrance is way cuter than his old washed-up The Cheat, and this insult starts a fight between the two of them.
