IRC
IRC channels are available for general discussion regarding the Homestar Runner Wiki and the Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki. We also have an IRC feed of the knowledge-base recent changes. Assistance with IRC commands can be found at Help:IRC.
|}
</div>

Etiquette
Do
*A good thing to do on the channel is starting to talk about a specific topic. Those can range from Homestar Runner and the wiki through politics and popular culture to computers and current events.
*Be nice to your fellow chatters and wiki users.
*Log in with the NickServ either before entering the channel or in a separate tab/window. Otherwise, one minor typo and everyone knows your password.

Don't
Failing to comply with the below guidelines may result in a channel kick or ban.
*Don't flood. Flooding in a chat channel is repeating the same message over and over in a short period of time.
*Don't alarm users for no reason. Some chat clients make a sound when the chatter's name is written. Also, don't notify a lot of users at the same time without having something meaningful to say to all of them.
*Don't feed the trolls. If someone is spamming, cursing or causing trouble, contact one of channel's admins, a wiki sysop or any other respected user for help via a private message. Don't tell the troll to stop, don't try to out-spam him or her, don't yell or curse back at him. It will only encourage the troll.
*Don't post text that is more than 5 lines long. For text longer than that, use Pastebin.
*Don't use language that is inappropriate for young users. <!-- We need to define this. -->
*Don't use bots. #hrwiki already has two bots that are on frequently (PsycheBot and ElectroBot), and even they are constantly used as a tool for flooding.

IRC clients
An IRC client is a program you can use to connect to any IRC chat channel. Popular IRC clients include:
* ChatZilla (open source) &mdash; ChatZilla is an IRC client extension for most Mozilla-based browsers (Mozilla App Suite, Mozilla Firefox, etc).
* Colloquy (open source) &mdash; Colloquy is a popular IRC client for Mac OS X, with a great deal of features including emoticons, tabbed chatting, and custom themes.
* Conversation (freeware) &mdash; Conversation is a great IRC client for Mac OS X. It has excellent AppleScript support and is very user-friendly.
* Pidgin (open source) &mdash; Pidgin can connect to multiple chat networks (including AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger). It also works on many different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc) although installation in some operating systems may not be straightforward.
* IceChat (commercial) &mdash; IceChat is a Windows IRC client written in Visual Basic. It provides some features other IRC clients do not, such as emoticons and an official support channel.
* mIRC (commercial) &mdash; mIRC is one of the most popular IRC clients with a lot of great features.
* Trillian (commercial) &mdash; Trillian connects to multiple chat networks (including AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger). It has more features than Gaim, but only works in Windows.
* X-Chat (open source) &mdash; X-Chat is a great multiplatform IRC client, completely free for Linux and Mac OS X, shareware for Windows but you can still download the source and compile it yourself, or get an unofficial version. The Mac OS X port is called X-Chat Aqua.

Codejkoolguy: /* New main page style */

Main Page Talk

Kind of interesting
if only because we're explicitly mentioned. I've saved a screenshot of it if anybody wants to see it after they purge it. 06:35, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

This does not work anymore.

All Articles Page
For the first time, I clicked on the articles link on the Main Page, and the text that was displayed was
<table style='background: inherit;'><tr><td align="right">$11.01</td><td> to </td><td align="left">Keytar</td></tr>
<tr><td align="right">Kick The Can</td><td> to </td><td align="left">Strongbadia</td></tr>
<tr><td align="right">Strongbadia's Seven Elemental Spirits</td><td> to </td><td align="left">pom pom</td></tr>
<tr><td align="right">pom pom (email)</td><td> to </td><td align="left">your friends</td></tr></table>

I stared at the page for a few minutes, certain that this seemingly random collection of words was vandalism before I realized that they were names of mostly obscure articles.

So, I'm wondering if there's a better way to present this page. I understand that the object of the page is to divide up the articles into sections of the alphabet, but what if the page instead displayed (for example)
<pre>
$ to K
L to R
S to o
p to y
</pre>
(with appropriate links, of course)

I'm just thinking that if this page was confusing to me, it must be very confusing for newcomers to the Wiki. The above reformatting (or something like it) would make a lot more sense to the uninitiated, I think. Thanks! 15:21, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

I like the idea, though maybe it could say "$ to Ki", to be more accurate. Trelawney

:It can't hurt to suggest that to the developers as an enhancement for future versions: http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org. 17:51, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

::Oh&mdash;is this an immutable part of the software? 18:17, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

:::Well, nothing's immutable. In fact, anyone who wants to can suggest changes to the source file. I personally, however, don't see this as a pressing need at this time. &mdash; It's dot com 18:27, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

::::I see; thanks for your reply. 18:30, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
If it's worth anything, that confused me as well, the first time I looked at it. 20:45, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

:The thing is, that page is automagically generated. It just happened, that, at the time, Keytar was the 1000th page, alphabetically (I think it's paged by the 1000, anyway... rough count gives around that number). Sure, it's possible to make it "$ to Ki", etc, but look at it, it'd need to make it something like "$ to Ki", "Ki to Strongbadia", "Strongbadia's to pom pom", "pom pom ( to z" or something like that, just because of how it happened to split that time &ndash; not really any help at all. What you'd have to do is get rid of the fixed-size pages, and just page by the first letter of the name or something similar, but good luck getting someone to actually bother to code it &ndash; on a large wiki like Wikipedia that would result in massive pages (have you seen Wikipedia:Special:Allpages?) so the people who code MediaWiki are unlikely to want to code this as standard. We could probably add it ourselves separately, but (1) we have stopped making any changes until we get 1.6 working and (B) even after that, as It's dot com said, it's not really a pressing need &ndash; even if it's a little confusing at first it shouldn't take too long to work out, and Special:Allpages isn't a particularly useful page here anyway (in my opinion). 13:28, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

::I'm not particularly attached to having that articles link on the Main Page. == ApologetiX ==
*In the booklet for the Christian group ApologetiX's 2003 CD "Adam Up," their guitarist is wearing a Strong Bad shirt. Also, at a show in Cincinnati, Ohio, the guitarist, Karl, wore his Strong Bad shirt (the mask shirt). In the booklet, he is wearing the full body shirt. He's got both!
*At their stop in Big Rapids, Michigan October 2, 2004, the keyboardist, Bill Hubauer, somehow got the Homestar quotes from the main webpage into his piano playing loud "Toons!," "Games!," "Characters!," and "Downloads!" while the lead singer, J. Jackson, was trying to say stuff. So far, no reported repeats of this activity.
*On August 22nd ApologetiX stopped at Elizabethtown, PA. In the middle of the concert, between songs, Karl started singing Trogdor. He also commented on someone's The Cheat hoodie.
*Early 2006 ApologetiX released a Live DVD with snippets between some songs. Karl is seen several times with a Trogdor t-shirt.
Beastie Boys 2004 Pageant Tour
*On December 16th 2004 at the Zenith in Munich, Germany, the Beastie Boys used two JumboTron screens on the left and right side of the stage to present to the crowd the first one and a half minutes of Everybody to the Limit. Even though most of the listeners might have never heard of Homestar Runner or Strong Bad the crowd cheered and clapped their hands rhythmically with the music.
*Everybody to the Limit and other Homestar Runner footage might have been part of other Beastie Boys shows during the 2004 Pageant Tour, but no other sightings have been reported.
On his new album, Behind the Musik (A Boy Named Jonah), Christian rapper KJ-52 lists Homestar Runner in his song "Things I Like."

The way in which the verse "Come on now, everybody!" is performed in "Whoop Whoop" (from It's Pronounced Five-Two) is suspiciously similar to the Intro song.

Upon being asked what his favorite Strong Bad Email was, KJ-52 replied, "Oh, man! Come on, now, that's not even a question right there. Um, my favorite Strong Bad Email, I'm-a probably say, I like the one where they got the virus, that one was hilarious. I like the one where Bubs went out and blew, um, shot a hole through the computer, but I have tons of them. Couldn't even name them all on top of my head. Um, so, that's to say, I have quite a bit. I would say that one's definitely one of the first ones that popped into my head." Click here to hear the podcast.
MEL: Uhhh, yeah. It says, uh, "Dear Dude, You're the cutest talking mushroom that I ever saw."

DUDE: Really?

MEL: Nah, it really says, "Dear Mel and Dude, Here's a list of the ingredients I need by tomorrow: 16 red onions."

{Dude open a cabinet. A large number of red onions fall down to the sound of falling bowling pins.}

DUDE: Got enough onions.

MEL: 100 black olives.

{We see many barrels full of black olives. Port Fungi is swimming in them.}

DUDE: What's after that?

MEL: 8 bell peppers.

{Cut to a big stack of bell peppers, with a sign that says, "A LOT OF PEPPERS". Some peppers fall down to reveal Dude.}

DUDE: Check.

MEL: 12 cloves of garlic.

{We see a barrel full of garlic cloves, which is labeled "GARLIC".}

DUDE: Got those.

MEL: And 24 sundried tomatoes.

{We see two baskets next to each other. The left one is an empty basket labeled "Sundried Tomatoes". The right one is a full basket labeled "Undried Tomatoes".}

DUDE: {looks into the basket} Uhhh, we don't have the sundried tomatoes. We'd better start drying them now.

MEL: Are you kidding? It's pouring out there! What are we going to do?

DUDE: I got it!

{Dude shines a flashlight on the undried tomatoes.}

MEL: I don't think that'll cut it, Dude. We better call Wizard.

{Cut to Wizard's telephone, which is ringing. Wizard picks it up.

WIZARD: Hello?

{The screen changes to a split screen, with Mel and Wizard visible in separate screens.}

MEL: Hey, Wiz. Mel here.

WIZARD: Oh, hello, Mel. What can I do for you?

MEL: Oh, uh, Dude and I have a bit of a problem. We need to sundry a bunch of tomatoes by tomorrow, but the rain is sorta getting in our way. Any ideas?

WIZARD: Hmmmmmm. . . have you tried a flashlight?

MEL: WHAT? {Mel gains a shocked expression on his face.}

WIZARD: Just kidding.

MEL: Oh.

{The screen shows Wizard's crystal ball.}

WIZARD: I saw Dude trying that in my crystal ball. {cut back to the split screen} Actually, I think you will find the solution in a bed.

MEL: Say huh?

WIZARD: In a bed. The answer lies in a bed.

MEL: Say huh, wha?

WIZARD: Goodbye, Mel.

{Mel and Wizard hang up and walk off of their respective split screens. Cut back to Mel and Dude with the undried tomatoes.}

DUDE: What'd he say?

MEL: He said the answer lies in a bed.

DUDE: Say huh?

MEL: That's what I said. Well, let's start trying.

{Fade to black. Cut to Mel's bedroom, where he has placed the tomatoes on the bed.}

MEL: Hmmmmm. The answer lies in a bed. I dunno if this is gonna work. {scratches head}

DUDE: Maybe we should turn the lights off and sing 'em a song.

MEL: Hey, wait! Maybe he was talking about a different kind of bed.

{Cut to Mel's garage. The garage door opens, revealing Mel and Dude looking at Mel's truck. The truck bed has four darts in it.}

DUDE: Where's the bed?

Mel: The truck, Dude. The bed of the truck.

DUDE: Oh! I never slept there before.

MEL: Well, do you see anything in there that could help us?

DUDE: Oh, there's my jarts!<!--{darts}--> You wanna play some jarts, Mel?

MEL: Dude! Stay on task!

DUDE: Oh, right. Beds. Let's see, what about a. . . bed of lettuce?

{Cut to Mel's kitchen. Dude is holding a plate covered with lettuce leaves.}

DUDE: Here goes! {Dude drops a tomato on the lettuce. Cricket chirps are heard while nothing happens.} Now, hold on a sec. Sometimes these types of things take a while.

MEL: You can wait there all you want, Dude. It ain't gonna happen. We'll just have to tell Melody we'll get her the sundried tomatoes in a few days.

DUDE: Oh, all right. {Dude dumps a tomato into the trash can.}

MEL: Don't throw 'em away! {Mel reaches in and retrieves the tomato. Underneath the tomato is the coupons from the mail.} Hey, that's it! {The camera zooms in on the House of Rays Tanning Salon coupon.}

DUDE: What?

{Cut to a now filled bucket of sundried tomatoes. Zoom out to see more dried tomatoes on a tanning bed. Mel and Dude are wearing protective glasses.}

MEL: Melody'll never know the difference.

{Fade to black. Cut to Mel, Dude, and Melody outside the Mellow Mushroom restaurant.}

MELODY: Well, guys, everything looks pretty good, though the sundried tomatoes are smelling a little bit like Coppertone.

MEL: Oh, uh, yeah, that's, uhhh, that's olive oil. You know. Olive oil, {using finger quotes} "Nature's Coppertone". {winks}

DUDE: That's right, Mel. Nature's Coppertone. {winks back}

MELODY: Why are you guys winking at each other?

MEL: Say huh?

DUDE: Say huh, wha?

{Canned laughter as black covers the screen and the words "the end" appear. Options to go "back" to the main page or to play the toon "again" are displayed.}

Codejkoolguy: added the Strike Four sighting

Karl Olson/Ultraklystron
Karl Olson, also known as Ultraklystron, recorded two songs related to H*R: a cover of The Skate Party song Strong Sad Rocks Out and an original song, He's Homsar, which are no longer available at these sites.

Strike Four
The band Strike Four, formally known as Salsa Commodity, referenced the Strong Bad Email "Mile" in their song "Here I Go."

Strong Bad Live!
On June 7th, 2003, at a concert featuring Radiohead and the Beastie Boys, Strong Bad Emails were shown on the JumboTron between acts. They also showed Everybody to the Limit and it had a special new introduction wherein Strong Bad complained that he wasn't allowed on stage even though he had been the #1 hit for two summers in a row.

Beastie Boys 2004 Pageant Tour
On December 16th 2004 at the Zenith in Munich, Germany, the Beastie Boys used two JumboTron screens on the left and right side of the stage to present to the crowd the first one and a half minutes of Everybody to the Limit. Even though most of the listeners might have never heard of Homestar Runner or Strong Bad the crowd was cheering and clapping their hands rhythmically with the music.
Everybody to the Limit and other Homestar Runner footage might have been part of other Beastie Boys shows during the 2004 Pageant Tour, but no other sightings were reported up until now.
The JumboTron screens were an essential part of the show and were also used during the concert to show live footage of the stage as well as other pop culture reference material like accelerated footage of some Atari 2600 video games gameplay such as Frogger's and scenes from Battlestar Galactica (during their song Intergalactic).

Relient K
The band Relient K has an H*R-like shirt logo and, assuming that they linked to Homestar Runner from their website, they must be Homestar fans.

Thursday
The band Thursday thanks Homestarrunner.com in the booklet to their latest album, War all the Time.

Thursday

Mindless Self Indulgence
The band Mindless Self Indulgence played The System is Down and Everybody to the Limit while setting up equipment before a show at the Metro in Chicago, Illinois. After the show, a band member was heard to comment on a fan's Strong Bad T-shirt and mentioned reading about H*R in Spin Magazine.

During their Desparta Los Ninos tour a completion CD was played in between opening acts and before the openers played. The CD had The System Is Down, Everybody to the Limit and Ballad of the Sneak. The lead singer Jimmy Urine is quite fond of Homestar Runner cartoons, especially Strong Bad.

Five Iron Frenzy
The Christian ska band Five Iron Frenzy has a picture in their latest CD release's booklet of their lead singer, Reese Roper, wearing a The Cheat shirt as shown here.

During their performance at the 2003 Cornerstone Music Festival, the lead singer asked the crowd if they were "ready to achieve burnination".

Also in thank yous in their CD's booklet, Andy thanks Strong Bad.

Very Low Sodium Band!
An online band, The Very Low Sodium Band (www.verylowsodium.com) has a song that praises Homestar Runner. Hear the song Here,.
Guitarist and singer Michael Sanders then went on to start a band, Salsa Commodity. This band did a live version of the song, which is on their album, Official Homemade Ice Cream.

Tripleside
Tripleside (www.tripleside.net) wrote a song called "Legitimate Business" as an homage to Homsar, including many classic Homsar quotes. You can download the song from their downloads page or read the lyrics here.

ApologetiX
In the booklet for the Christian group ApologetiX's 2003 CD "Adam Up," their guitarist is wearing a Strong Bad shirt. Also, at a show in Cincinnati, Ohio, the guitarist, Karl, wore his Strong Bad shirt (the mask shirt). In the booklet, he is wearing the full body shirt. He's got both!

At their stop in Big Rapids, Michigan October 2, 2004, the keyboardist, Bill Hubauer, somehow got the Homestar quotes from the main webpage into his piano playing loud "Toons!," "Games!," "Characters!," and "Downloads!" while the lead singer, J. Jackson, was trying to say stuff. So far, no reported repeats of this activity.

On August 22nd ApologetiX stopped at Elizabethtown, PA. In the middle of the concert, between songs, Karl started singing Trogdor. He also commented on someone's The Cheat hoodie.

Sons of Pitches
The Ithaca, NY band Sons of Pitches had a concert at the Cornell Business & Technology Park on July 24, 2004. Before their second set started, they were doing the thing at the end of the Theme Park where Homestar is on the Strongbadian Riverboat Super-fun ride. It sounded like Strong Bad including the line "Please keep your arms legs and valuables inside the vehicle at all times".

Time For Living
The San Francisco hardcore punk band Time For Living has a Homestar themed album with the title track "The Cheat is not Dead". They have songs called "Discount Brick", "Just A Friendly Reminder", "Population: Tire", and "The King Of Town." Beyond the titles, the songs don't have any relationship to Homestar Runner, which for legal reasons is good for the band.

Salsa Commodity
Salsa Commodity released the song A Tribute to Homestar Runner "Live" on their debut album, Official Homemade Ice Cream. Before all this, guitarist and singer Michael Sanders made a song about Teen Girl Squad, which can be found in the old music section of the site. There is also a sort of Trogdor cover there, using the singing from the email.

KJ-52
On his new album, "Behind the Muzik (A Boy Named Jonah)", Christian rapper KJ-52 lists Homestar Runner in his song "Things I Like."

The Planet Smashers
The hidden 13th track on The Planet Smasher's "Mighty" album proclaims "Trogdor!"

Jump5
During one bonus "track" on their remixed album (Remixed), Chris sings something extremely similar to The System is Down. (one of the various sound effects)

Patent Pending
Patent Pending has a song on their album, "Don't Quit Your Day Job," called Decemberween.

Goldspot
Indie band Goldspot used the beat from the Old Intro 2 on their song "Cusp" from their album "Tally of the Yes Men". This song is available for download on iTunes.

Jump, Little Children
On June 6th, 2003, during his solo tour, Jay Clifford was asked to play a song and replied "It's been probably five years since I've played this song so forgive me. It's gonna sound like crap. Crap! It's gonna sound like crap! Anybody watch Homestar Runner? It's the cool- I mean, the best thing ever, that's ever happened to this planet! That's Homestar Runner. So Holy Crap!"
STRONG BAD:{singing} Oh, here comes little e-mail, with a gun in his hand...

{reading}
<blockquote class="email">hi there strong bad,<br />
<br />
i was just wondering, when is dangeresque 3 comeing out?<br />
<br />
yours truly,<br />
john newell, on</blockquote>

{Strong Bad pronounces "comeing" as it is written (replete with spelling mistake), viz. "koh-may-ing." He also pronounces "john newell, on" (Ontario) as "johnny well, on."}

STRONG BAD: Whoa. I left my Johnny Well on. {He deletes "on" and types "off."} Johnny Well: off. {We hear the sound of a large machine powering down.} Man! Peoples won't leave me alone about this one. {typing} Okay, okay, okay, okay. Dangeresque 3 production update! Day 114: Things are comeing {again pronounced "koh-may-ing"} along right on schedule. So far, we seem to have only hit one major snag. Um, and that is I haven't um, {as he types, the text gets smaller} made Dangeresque 3 yet. {text size returns to normal} But, before you start throwing full wine bottles at your computer screen, let me offer this as a cop-out: the digitally remastered director's cut of: Dangeresque 1: Dangeresque, too?

{We cut to Strong Bad wearing his Dangeresque glasses, sitting in the Gremlin, pretending to drive and humming the Dangeresque theme tune. The Cheat repeatedly runs by in the background holding a small tree to give the impression of movement. A sign is held up in front of the camera, moving around a little, reading: Dangeresque 1: "Dangeresque, Too?" followed by another, reading "Not in 3-D."}

STRONG BAD: {He makes telephone ringing noises.} Oh, my car phone. {He picks up a VCR with a phone cord coming out of it.} You got Dangeresque. Who this is?

{Cut to Coach Z in his Renaldo costume. He is looking straight at the camera.}

COACH Z: Now?

STRONG BAD: {whispering, off-screen} Yeah, go, go.

COACH Z: {He turns away from the camera and holds an unplugged phone receiver up to his ear.} Dangeresque, it's Renaldo. I need you back here away, right? I mean, right away.

STRONG BAD: {off-screen} Uh, I'm in a car right now, but I can drive it to the office.

COACH Z: Sounds like a plan. {turns back to the camera} How was tha&mdash;

{Cut to Strong Bad in his car.}

STRONG BAD: Hang on, car phone! Get ready for some fancy driving!

{Strong Bad makes the sound of a car squealing around corners while the camera moves left to make it seem as if he's moving forwards. One of the Gremlin's hubcaps rolls from the left of the screen. We then cut to the office. Strong Bad opens the door and walks in.}

COACH Z: What took you so long?

STRONG BAD: Oh, I had to swing by Cool Weapons Surplus for a new nunchaku gun. {He holds up a gun with nunchakus taped to it.} And a Reesy Cup milkshake. {He holds up a milkshake cup with "Reesy Cup" printed on it.}

COACH Z: Well, anyways, I called you in to meet your new partner: Dangeresque, too?

{The camera pans right to Homestar Runner, wearing sunglasses.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: The name's Dangeresque. Nice to meet ya.

STRONG BAD: Whaaa?

COACH Z: Dangeresque!

STRONG BAD: Yeah?<br>
HOMESTAR RUNNER: What? {simultaneously}

{They both turn and glare at each other to the accompaniment of a shock riff made by Strong Bad over the top.}

COACH Z: Perducci's intercepted the serum at the border! {He holds up the newspaper from Stunt Double, this time with a taped-on headline reading "PERDUCCI IS THE BAD GUY."} If that serum doesn't make it through, they'll kidnap Cutesy Buttons!

STRONG BAD & HOMESTAR RUNNER: {shaking fists} Perducci!

{Cut to Homestar and Strong Bad playing squash in the basement (with Strong Bad's rendition of the Dangeresque theme tune as an accompaniment). Homestar serves the ball and they play a frantic volley, which Strong Bad wins.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: {He removes his sunglasses.} What is your malfunction?

STRONG BAD: Let's get one thing straight, meatball...face...butt: I work alone. 'Cept when I work with Renaldo...which is all the time.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Oh yeah? Well, you need me because I'm the only one that knows where Perducci is, and where that is is that he is...in...Istanbul.

STRONG BAD: Istanbul! Of course!

{Blackout fade to an expanse of meadow in Free Country, USA, with a musical interlude from Strong Bad. Homestar Runner and Strong Bad are standing next to The Cheat, who is wearing a sign saying "Istanbul."}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Perducci's got to be here around in Istanbul somewhere.

STRONG BAD: I hope you're right. We’ve got to get that serum through...

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Let's ask this passers-by.

{Strong Sad walks by, holding a sandwich.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: What do you know about Perducci, doughboy?

STRONG SAD: Ugh, I told you guys already I'm not going to be in your stupid movie!

{The frame "jumps." Same shot, but now Strong Bad is holding Strong Sad's sandwich.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: What do you know about Perducci?

STRONG SAD: {reluctantly} Only that I am not one of his minions.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Well, thanks anyways. Move it along, hot tub!

{Strong Sad walks out.}

STRONG BAD: That stranger seemed to know a little bit too little about Perducci...

{With another musical interlude, blackout fade to Strong Sad and the King of Town (who is silhouetted), on top of Bubs' Concession Stand. The King of Town is wearing a bowler hat.}

KING OF TOWN: What? Two Dangeresques? {He turns to the camera, revealing that he is wearing a blue coat, sunglasses and a name-tag reading "hello my name is perducci."} Well, they'll still be no match for my secret weapon!

{Cut to a silhouetted Strong Mad, whose gleaming white eyes are the only visible feature of his body. Strong Bad makes a scary tune over the top, then sings the first two notes of the Dangeresque theme song as we cut to Homestar Runner and Strong Bad standing on top of a large piece of cardboard made up to look like a tall building, holding a horizontal rope. The frame "jumps" again to the same shot, but rotated ninety degrees so that it looks as if the Dangeresques are climbing the building.}

STRONG BAD: Once we get to the top of this high-scraper, we'll hopefully be able to throw some people off. Maybe even Perducci.

{They continue to "climb." As Homestar's glasses fall onto the cardboard, we quickly cut to the top of the Concession Stand, where the Dangeresques meet the King of Town.}

KING OF TOWN: Dangeresque!

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Yeah?<br>
STRONG BAD: What? {simultaneously}

KING OF TOWN: Allow me to introduce you to both my secret weapon and your doom: Killingyouguy!

{Strong Mad appears, raising his arms menacingly. The M on his singlet has been replaced with "KILLINGYOUGUY" and two post-its with a bullet hole and a scar drawn on have been stuck to his face. Strong Bad imitates a guitar screech over the top.}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Oh. Gad.

STRONG BAD: That guy is tall.

HOMESTAR RUNNER & STRONG BAD: You take the big guy.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: The pipes are broken!

{He leaps off. We cut to Homestar, suspended by a rope, whirling around and kicking Strong Sad repeatedly in the face. Strong Sad has a paper bag with Strong Mad's face, a bullet hole and a scar drawn on it on his head and is wearing his singlet.}

STRONG SAD: {There is one exclamation for each hit.} Oof! Ow! Ouff! Ouwh! Getting! Dizzy! Blacking! Out! Oof! Geez! Oouf!

{We then cut to Strong Bad, Coach Z (silhouetted) and Homestar (looking down on the fallen Strong Mad).}

COACH Z: Nice work there, Dangeresque!

STRONG BAD & HOMESTAR RUNNER: Thanks. Ahahahaha.

{Marzipan, as Cutesy Buttons, approaches Coach Z, holding a glass of iced tea, with ice cubes and mint bobbing on the surface.}

MARZIPAN: Mmm. Thanks for the serum, boys. Now I won't be kidnapped.

STRONG BAD: Oh no...

HOMESTAR RUNNER & STRONG BAD: ...Looks like we're going to have to jump!

{They both jump off the Concession Stand and end in a freeze frame, silhouetted against a sunset. The credits roll while Strong Bad sings.}

STRONG BAD: Today is all right for tonight...<br>
Riding in a Corvette, feeling all right,<br>
Today is all right for tonight!<br>

Easter Eggs
*Click on Strong Bad's Dangeresque glasses at the end and you can download "Today is Alright 4 2Nite," a song from the movie made by Strong Bad.

Fun Facts
Explanations
*At the end of stunt double, Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective was said to be coming out in June 2004, which is when this e-mail came out. Also, it was supposed to be 'In 3D', which is why the sign says 'not in 3D' at the beginning of this one.

Trivia
*This email was originally titled "dangeresque3" (without the space) but was changed within hours to "dangeresque 3."
*The file sbemail106.swf is the biggest email to date, coming in at 1265KB. The only other emails that have come in over 1MB are "japanese cartoon," at 1131KB; "date," at 1032KB; and "haircut," at 1066KB. The large size is mostly due to the 3 frames of TV static (167KB from those 3 frames alone), and the noisy still image (287KB) at the end.
*The nunchuck gun has no trigger.

Inside References
*The sound effect of "John Newell OFF" is the same one used when Strong Sad came down from his caffine high in caffeine.
*Strong Bad's line "I work alone. 'Cept when I work with Renaldo. Which is all the time" is a line from Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits.
*Dangeresque's door reads (backwards) DANGERESQUE Private Eye/Crooked Cop which is also a throw to the Strong Bad Sings CD.
*The VCR used for the car phone is from 12:00 and the Character Videos page.
*The Newspaper is from stunt double.
**To read the exact text of the newspaper, see trivia in stunt double.
*"I'm gonna have to jump!" is a reference to the stunt double, as is the whole e-mail.
*The Name Tag that The King of Town wears is from The Luau.
*The car is the Gremlin from Homestarloween Party.
*Strong Bad saying "That guy is tall" may be a reference to Pumpkin Carve-nival where Homestar said, "Alright, this guy is tall."
*The Cheat's "Istanbul" costume is a reference to A Decemberween Pageant where his "Popular Vote" costume looks almost the same.

Real-World References
*"What is your malfunction?" is a reference to Stanley Kubrick's Vietnam war movie "Full Metal Jacket".
*The scene of the two Dangeresques climbing up the "skyscraper" is a parody of The Bat Climb, a running gag from the old Batman TV series.
*"The pipes are broken!" is Homestar trying to say "Tatsu Maki Sen Pū Kyaku," a move from Street Fighter II usually called the Hurricane Kick in U.S. versions. This is because the characters in Street Fighter II are very hard to understand and sound like they are saying something else.
*Homestar's "shades" are Venetian blinds-style, and may have been inspired by the movie "Summer School".
*"Reesy Cup Milkshake" is a reference to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups candy, which is often served in milkshakes.
* Doughboy may be a reference to Poppin' Fresh, The Pillsbury Doughboy.
*At the beginning of the climbing scene, a sound effect played during the scene transition is similar to that of the television show Law and Order.
Fast Forward
*Homestar's "Hurricane Kick" becomes one of 1-Up's attacks in the Stinkoman 20x6 game.
This IS kinda a useful page, like if people want to see some old characters, that are no longer/make few appearnces on the site? HrWiki is definetely a useful place, and the more articles, the better! Just don't keep the useless and blank pages. I think this article is just fine, and I really don't see why it needs to be deleted. Aw, crap. I forgot what I was gonna say now. Oh well. -Darklinkskywalker
I like to see all these charaters in one page. Right now they all have short stub pages so I thought it would me nice to marge then all together. E.L. Cool 04:13, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

He's right. With this, we'll be able to delete the individual pages, and the bandwidth will never be exceeded again! P.S. - You forgot Trivia Time. --Technochocolate 03:30, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

:That's not what bandwidth is. Bandwidth is the amount of information transmitted from the server, not the amount of information stored on the server. <small><tt><span style="color:#8B0000;">Aurora the Homestar Coder</span></tt></small> 03:31, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Ya, this is a nice page that will give an idea about what H*R used to be like. I say keep it.
