::As far as I can tell, it is the original Optimus Prime from the old show. The other Autobots had similar, but distinctly different heads, while the Decepticons had slightly more angles and "evil" looks on thier faces. Hasboro may have used the head on other characters action figures since then, and I haven't seen the newer shows enough to guarantee that it is the only Transformer ever to have used that particular head. If that's Optimus Prime, then I'm Bob Hope: it looks absolutely NOTHING like Optimus Prime's head, rather it looks like just a generic Transformer. For the record, I am a huge Transformers fan, and can isolate the following differences:

# Optimus has a large vertical grilled box that dominates his forehead. This Transformer does not.

I'm sure that if you look around, you could isolate a Tranformer that matches it, if not at least a dozen, minimum (hell, I could even ask my brother, who keeps track of that kind of thing much more than I do). Because of that, I would say that it's just supposed to be a generic Transformer.

:Well Mr. Hope, upon reviewing the pictures you provided, the painting looks even more like Optimus to me than it did before. The "mouth" you describe on this painting looks like nothing more than a dent in his faceplate, and not something that would be big enough to even be a mouth. His forehead piece may have been too complex for the Brothers Chaps to include in The Cheat's stencil, and the antenna-rod things you describe are only apparent in the action figure, and that appears to be a little stylized. In the cartoon, they look kind of small and uncool. It is possible TBC based this simple little drawing off only the cartoon, determining the horns took away from the leader of the Autobots. Or maybe the drew it like this to stimulate some debate for them to read and laugh at. Who knows? Anyway, the page doesn't state that it is absoultely Optimus, but maybe we ought to put this in the STUFF Vote section.

Well okay, but if that's Homestar then it would seem we have to accept the following:
# Homestar owns or rents a "fancy" doublewide trailer.
# Homestar has a portrait of Strong Bad holding a skunk hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar has a cool portrait of a unicorn on a snowmobile hanging in his doublewide.
# Homestar keeps Cold Ones in his trailer.
# Strong Bad is impressed by something Homestar owns (he speaks favorably of the trailer and both pieces of art).
# Strong Bad passes up the opportunity to comment on all this. Ordinarily, he would be outwardly upset at having to admit Homestar owns or has done something cool, and would either change his opinion about said coolness or comment that Homestar has no business owning such things. Or maybe fall into despondency.
Based on everything we know about both of these characters, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Best I can figure is that it's the real owner of the doublewide using a Homestar quote to fit the situation (which happens around my house all the time, especially when anything happens with anything that's blue). And the accent really isn't quite right at the end of the quote.

I'm happy to be proven wrong ... somebody make sense out of all the above for me, please.

(In fact I'd venture to say the ''majority'' of things we see are hypothetical!) We have the entire page [[Places Strong Bad Made Up]] as a result. This is one such place (although, as I said above, I don't think it should be added to the page). Strong Bad started hypothesizing about himself as a black velvet painting, then extended the speculation to the fact that it would hang in a double-wide; then as a nice touch we discover that the double-wide belongs to Trailer Homestar. Who carves things in walls (as opposed to [[Cool Things|painting them]]), sits around drinking cold ones, and chucks the bottles at the wall. I've figured out that what Homestar turns into at the very end depends on what "essence" you get from Strong Bad, Strong Mad, and The Cheat. "Essence of Doo-Doo Meringue" results in Tofu Homestar, "Essence of Strong Mad's Finger Dipped in a Glass of Warm Water" (or however it went) gives you a Marzipan with really bad teeth and a weird voice, and "Essence of Gullibility" leads to classy French Homestar. Someone might want to double check this just to make sure, though -- I only went through it 4 times.

As someone who's done a little basic programming, I know one of the EASIEST ways TBC might have made this system work. Each option you select has a value attached to it, either 1, 2, or 3. When you select it, it gets added to a total value, at the end, your total value decides the transformation. This means that each set of choices probably has one 1-point option, one 2-point option, and one 3-point option. This is supported by the fact that some of the encounters seem to have a "best" choice, such as doing a dance for Bubs or getting the Ghost Water (outlined in the ingredients) from Coach Z. I just watched the toon for the first time earlier today, and the Tofu Homestar ending is different than what is listed in the transcript. In the version I saw, the top block of Tofu actually does fall off, and it lands in the cauldron with a splash. This cuases Homestar to transform to his usual look, and Marzipan says once again that Homestar is back to his usual self, this time in a disappointed-sounding tone. Homestar then proceeds to tell Marzipan that her costume makes her butt look big.

::: It has to do with how the Flash file is set up. Whenever you're able to highlight the characters, you're looking at a particular frame. When you click on one of them, it moves to a different spot in the file and plays the appropriate mini-scene. You can't click on the characters because there are no buttons in these frames. When the mini-scene is done, it goes back to the costumes frame. To insert Homsar into the scene, they just created a sprite with him in it and overlayed it at the end. The sprite is the same whether you're looking at the costumes frame or one of the mini-scenes, which is why it behaves the same way in both instances (just like Homestar's eyes blink even when the file is paused). Oooh! Oooh! Now it's time for "my two cents about Reynold!" (''sound of muffled trombone''). I think TBC were simply trying to come up with an inappropriate behavior for Reynold to be chastised about - the phrase "get teen pregnant" makes as much sense as "peer-2-teen choice behavior." Let us pity poor Reynold, who, in addition to not being allowed on any missions, isn't allowed to watch a PG-13 movie about ponies. This constant sheltering feeds his naive persona - the little dude can't even cuss properly. So, when he attempts to express his frustration about being sent to bed, "get teen pregnant" is the best he can come up with. He's not going to get pregnant, or get someone pregnant - he's using risque language inappropriately. This is similar to how little children, flush with excitement over learning a new curse word, use the word relentlessly without even understanding what it means. I doubt theres anything to really make a case about. As mentioned before, getting teen pregnant makes no sense - especially as Reynolds says it, and since when is pregnancy innapropriate? I may be over exageratting, but I think everyone here is born thanks to a pregnancy. And I doubt society's reached a point where one is ashamed of being pregnant. The line just shows Reynold's lack of common sense/wit. The antioxidants explanation is just dumb. We're not advised to eat foods with antioxidants in them for the prevention of acne. Anti-oxidants prevent oxidation; having these chemicals in the body and are thought to prevent cancer and stave of the visible signs of aging. They may be used in over the counter acne medicine, but they aren't doing anthying in them. Anti-acne medicine works through cleansing/astringent properties. Prescription anti-acne medicine is antibiotics. There is absilutely no evidence that topical application of antioxidants has any effect at all. Eplaining antioxidants as acne preventers is really bizzare, and I don't understand why it got changed back.
