Hey F-Bird. I just thought I'd pass a bit of Joey Day wisdom on to you about sigs. Have you tried the template meathod? Basically it lets you shorten your code left behind, and lets you change ALL your sigs at the same time. You just put your sig code on a subpage of your userpage, (e.g. 'User:FireBird/sig' or something). Then in your prefferances box, put {{User:FireBird/sig}}. And that's all there is to it. That way, you can keep your same sig, with your arrow not being linked and everything, and then be able to use the <nowiki>'~~~~'</nowiki> meathod, I think. You could even use the timestamp! Hey FireBird. I did have a reason for formatting the [[Gross Old Wig]] article with bullet points. I wanted to avoid directly quoting Homestar giving his reasons for putting the GOW in the time machine. You see, when we quote Homestar saying "gross and nasty and old and he didn't want it", it isn't technically correct, because Homestar says "I" instead of "he."

I have a couple options open in order to avoid this:

:*Put it back in bullets without the quotations.
:*Show that "he" was not spoken by homestar. i.e., "gross and nasty and old and [he] didn't want it." (I do not like the look of the [he]).
:*leave it in the paragraph, but take the quotes out. (This my least favored option, because this is too close to being a direct quote to be meshed into the sentence).

P.S. Another thing. I wrote the article in past tense because (in my opinion) that sounds better.
