Generic foods and drinks are kept due to a large filmography, if you can call it that. Gags require 3 appearences, and no more, before it can be considered indisputable. Objects require five to ten. This has the minimal appeareances, but does not meet the rest of the requirements, which I shall spell out carefully for the sake of this discussion.
