The Homestar Runner toons mostly take place in the United States, but occasionally they refer to the British Isles.

- Email sb_email 22 — This email has been banned in the U.K., since Strong Bad has apparently offended the royal family.
- Pumpkin Carve-nival — Strong Sad's Halloween costume is Vyvyan, a character on the English TV show, The Young Ones.
- Email old comics — Strong Bad likens the email sender's location (West Islip, NY) to "some kind of British new wave band", followed by a sample song from the band.
- Email strong badathlon — When he sees the email sender's signature, Strong Bad likens it to a Videlectrix title.
- Jibblies 2 — The Cheat's Halloween costume is Penfold, a character on the English cartoon series, DangerMouse.
- Email hiding — When Strong Bad's bait to trap Homestar fails, he and The Cheat then switch to baiting Strong Sad into the trap, by adding a barrister's wig to the trap. Strong Sad then is heard saying, "Ooh, parliament!"
