[edit] Brooklyn accent
Is it necessary to have a section on the Wheelchair's Brooklyn accent when he has only shown it once, especially considering that we now have a page on Brooklyn accents? I noticed it has been on the page for quite a while, so I didn't want to remove it without discussion (or at least an attempt at discussion). — Has Matt? (talk) 16:43, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well... in actuality, the page really ISN'T about Brooklyn accents, but a certain pronunciation commonly used that's also used in Brooklyn accents. But... I think we may need to find a place on "Er" pronounced as "Oi" for The Wheelchair (i.e., a small section regarding the Wheelchair's, erm, uh, Brooklyn accent. A lot of "Brooklyn accent"s in this discussion). Thoughts? Bluebry 16:59, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think a mention in the lead paragraph would be good, right after the mention of Coach Z's pronunciation of "toilet". — Has Matt? (talk) 17:26, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Reading through the section, I notice that half of the stuff on there is already on "Er" pronounced as "Oi". So, yeah, it's only two sentences. Put it in da intro. Bluebry 22:25, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- So, I see this was brought up a few months ago, but there really doesn't need to be a whole separate "Brooklyn accent" section, on this page, I don't think. -DAGRON 10:09, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
