While Strong Bad says it's not really his style, he nonetheless proceeds to write a techno song using his own voice. After starting out with a simple beat, he adds more and more parts, including a siren-like noise and the "obligatory old movie quote from some sci-fi movie" which gave the song its name: The System Is Down. Meanwhile, The Cheat begins to add visual effects using his own lightswitch and a glowstick, though Strong Bad disapproves of his "throw[ing] lightswitch raves", and suggests that they pour the contents of the glowstick into Homestar Runner's Mountain Dew. The song created in this email would later be featured as the second track on the Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits CD. (more...) watch |
